The level of detail in this is astounding. The faux woodgrain, the seats, the bells and buzzers, and I swear I've seen some of those ad posters up close.
@@NickDaltonYT I’m planning to start my own animated tv series, and it involves a subway train in many scenes. The 1200s are also the most nostalgic train for me as well, i actually have lived near green street for 8 years, and they are also the most easy to draw in my opinion. Don’t worry, you won’t get any negative publicity, and unless you want to voice a character or join the writing team, the most of nick dalton you will see is a street named “Dalton Street”. Is that allright?
I like this route. I have the train. However I wonder when we will see the route. It would be great to be able to drive this route in open BVE. I have riden this route from forest hills to back bay.
The edition of 12s that I used was the post 1987 variant. Black leather seats and updated signage to include all the stations on the Southwest corridor.
So this is good news. A Mbta orange line Motorperson has told me that seashore will be getting a pair of 1200s and you will be able to drive it for yourself with a staff member.
@@NickDaltonYT actually that was the original plan for all of the 12s to be scrapped the motorperson said. He told me and someone that the T is gonna refurbish the 2 1200 cars that will be going there.
Im currently trying to replicate both the 0700s and 1200s in a HO model train size. Im currently working on the 0700s.
Woah cool
I love the sound of the famous track switch crossover sound between Ruggles and Mass Ave stations.

Thank you so much. I’ve dedicated the last 4 years of my life to studying, archiving and preserving the type 12s as best I can
Good job, Nick! You’ve recreated the ride experience quite well! Thanks!
The train looked so clean! ;-)
This brings me nostalgia back when u used to take the orange line when the 12s were in service
Hi Nick, can I use the 1200s sound effects for an animated video project I’m doing? Also I’m happy to hear you’re doing better now!
What’s the project if u don’t mind me asking

Looking at the seating thumbnail, reminds of the old seats back in the early 2000's

@@NickDaltonYTI saw some old footage when It was elevated, they had orange Golden Seats, maybe that's something you could do later on.

No they aren’t getting a 12

@@WHALEPSHIZZ highly unlikely. Seashore didn’t want them.
@@NickDaltonYT the motorperson said at first they rejected the 1200s but now they are getting them
@@NickDaltonYT also they will keep some of the 12s at Wellington then some will be scrapped and then they will refurbish the 2 1200s going to seashore
Update on the Mbta Ho scale 0700 model train: I have finally completed removing the flash from the windows. Now I need sand rough parts of the train.
This one's really good. Where's the download link? I gotta play with this.
