Why anybody, EC should bother about counting all VVPATS? What happens if two more days delayed for declaration of result or few more manpower deployed for counting? If counting of full VVPAts can increase trust on our election system, if it can satisfy the petitioners and lakha and crores of voters, is it not good?
Review taken rightly. It's difficult to understand why Hon'ble Judges are prone to discarding the suspicion and anxiety of the voters. I hope, they will make revision of the order.
Voting is one of the most important process for democracy and it happens Once in 5 years in India, therefore, every VVPAT should be minutely counted manually under CCTV for fair result..
When more than 50%of people have no trust in evms still the supreme court can direct the election commission to count both evms and vvpats

Months ago a Congress spokesperson had pointed out that 5 to 6% of the votes are being swung in EVMs in favor of BJP.
We are seeing the same thing repeating in the current lok sabha election.

Since one year EVM problems have been put up to the SC but no decision was taken. Now after elections have started what can be done. No faith in the EC that is why people go to the court but SC should have allowed counting of all VVPAT

The judges who gave the verdict have no idea about embedded system & software. Judge should have called an independent software expert team before passing the judgement. No software based system in the world is protected if given the access to the hacker experts.

We have experienced the old type of paper voting system. The political parties used to interfere and hijack paper ballots boxes or ballots.
What ever may be the reason for turning down the petition, facr remains that EVM in present form is totally unreliable. SC verdict deserves review in the interest of transparency.

The Supreme Court of India had better cancel election in selected booths all over India in the 5th phase of election and arrange surprise verification in those booths. Experts in those fields should be invited and verification conducted.

With due respect to Supreme Court, I still feel that the honourable court has made a big blunder in not taking seriously the matter regarding 100% matching of EVM with VVPAT and given the verdict against the petitioner. It is highly unfortunate.
So many places EVM machine's were printing wrong party i.e. instead of Congress,BJP slip comes out on the printing.
The election conducted in Karnnadaka is with the same machine. That time the machine was right .
SC if it really wanted to save democracy and Voters basic right, it should have banned EVM or atleast order strictly for cent percent counting of VVPAT

I don't think that courts in our country should take EVM case whenever election arises. Does tge present set up thinks that previous SC judgements on EVM are incorrect, requires their modification bases on priorities of political parties.

EVM ke bareme kisi bhi angle se baat kare, it was supposed to be banned. But it is our misfortune. SC judges who has given judgement on EVM is very wrong, afterthought and harmfur for the country. God will never pardon to these judges. They have to suffer for this type of judgement. People has left no trust on court. Shame.

The Hon. Judges must not go by own understanding and confidence (by sealed cover OR no sealed cover) as a few finger count individuals, nullify opposite understanding and no confidence of crores and crores of people. Technology could never be vouchsafed.
