I always feel inflamed after I workout. I used to do a ton of running and afterwards my belly always held interstitial fluid….. in the beginning that would have made me not eat. What I learned was that the solution to that “Situation” actually is to eat bring the body out of stress mode. I have inflammation in my gut and when I flare up it can make me feel like I’m 15 pounds heavier along with some bloating but when I weigh it’s a normal weight (for me)… so the scale isn’t an accurate representation of your health status….. when I was really into lifting my legs would look so swollen after a leg day. I always thought there was something wrong …. And there was. It was way to stressful on my body and I struggled to recover. Now I don’t do back to back workouts and if I do it’ll be something easy like yoga or stretching
