      Dear Andrej,
      Honored to have received the PDF version of your book as a gift some time ago: I deeply admire the effort and clarity you put into these 600+ pages of number theory (I appreciate congruences and Diophantine equations very much due to my independent research on tetration stable digits and covering paths on regular grids). It’s wonderful to see your work reaching a wider audience through this video!

    Number theory is my favorite math area, and this this book looks extra special. Thank you for sharing! 💛 ( Btw I got the Mendelson book on your recommendation and I love it! )

      Number theory is do much fun. So much mystery in all those whole number patterns. That's great to hear about the Mendelson book!

    Thank you for the lovely book review.
    Just out of curiosity, which pencil have you used to make the review notes on the little piece of paper later in the video ??
    I love how dark and beautiful the handwritten notes appear 😊

      Camlin Supremes. I ordered a batch of 50 from India via Amazon US and I have been using them for like the past month.

    WHATS THE BEST PRACTICAL NUMBER THEORY TEXTBOOKS BY SPRINGER PUBLISH
    THANK YOU

      If it has to be springer, I am not familiar with their undergraduate intro NT books, if that's what you mean. I couldn't do much beyond listing them.
      Here is one:

    While you are at it, try to learn some parts of analytic number theory from Apostol's book also. You are eligible for it since you have done enough analysis. The parts of algebra you need for it might be covered in the appendices. And some later chapters in Stein and Shakarchi's book also has stuff related to number theory.

    • @mathematicaladventures
      @mathematicaladventures  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for that. Yes, it's on my list. Also, Apostol has a nice second book "Modular Functions and Dirichlet Series in Number Theory (Graduate Texts in Mathematics) that follows the one I showed. I still have a ways to go with FIS, though...

      @@mathematicaladventures FIS is a lengthy book. But it is very rewarding also. Get it done properly and move on to something new and interesting. I would suggest group theory.

      That's the plan: FIS, then Abstract Algebra, and I will mix in a little Number Theory.

      Solid guess! But I will say no more. I am sticking to math 100 percent in here.
