I currently have this machine in my apt. and it does a decent job. Best if you wash a large load .. the level of water in this video is the super water level which says you can wash a larger load then the one in the video but the roll over is much slower. Think if the agitator pole had bigger fins on the upper part of the pole it would move the clothes thru the water better. The bottom part of the agitator is a beast... Decent RPM spin speed too.
What happened to the light during rinse? Missed the whole thing.
They turned it off during the rinse cycle.
I believe this washer was made all the way until 2009 or 2010.
Nice washer! GE filter-flos were even better!
Jerome Davis. Have one but the tub is leaking looking to some how getting it fixed
I like these better
@@ScantPear I agree!
Jerome Davis I like these better than the filter flo
@@ScantPear what makes them better?

Is that washer old or new?
It's a late model year washer. Not their newest. There is probably something like it still made.
I like all GE Washers before the Hydrowave and infuser models came out.
Not including front loading machines.
Is this belt or direct drive?
Not sure, but 90% confident that it is belt driven.
@@DaOneEnOnly I ask because it almost resembles the older Whirlpool washing machines in agitation.
DaOneEnOnly With this back-and-forth quick agitation it’s direct drive.
@@petermaz701 I just looked it up and it appears to use a belt.
@@OckGypsy it uses a belt to drive the transmission and if it has a transmission, it’s direct drive
So glad to see you back! I love your washer videos. I'd like to see you do a jean load sometime, thanks!
what year is the washer?
Looks like it was made in 2004 or 2005.
I the spin mode
It kind of sounds like a UFO
Sounds kind of like my old 1994 Kenmore quiet series heavy duty washer
I use to have that washer
nevermind it's from March 1997
Great washing machine!!! Back in the day when GE was all about quality.
I thought this was a hydrowave
No it’s a chug chug
do that one with low agitaton
This washer only has one speed. On the Casuals cycle, the agitation pauses a couple of times during the wash cycle.
