Vintage Cherrywood Dresser restoration

  • Here is the process I used:
    🌿 Fully Scraped and Sanded to remove all the finish
    🌿Sanded with 3M Xtract Abrassive, 120 grit followed by 150 grit then wiped with Acetone
    🌿1 coat stain / General Finishes Gel stain
    🌿 2 coats mohawk vinyl EZ Sealer
    🌿 1 coat Glaze
    🌿1 coat Toner
    🌿3 coats Lacquer Satin
    🌿****Sanded 400 grit between all coats
    🌿Brass hardware low boiled water dish soap and vinegar, scrubbed with green pad and barkeepers friend
    🌿Metal shields sprayed with Rustoleum gold spray
