The Talmud says this Yeshu was executed by a Jewish court on the grounds of idolatry, even though they tried to find some way not to execute him because he was "close to the government." First, by the time Jesus supposedly lived, Jewish courts renounced their right to try capital cases. (The Romans were trying to get these courts to do their dirty work.) Second, is what was meant by Yeshu being close to the government. Some say he was related to the Hasmoneans, who were no longer alive in Jesus' time. A few infos on christianity : for Christians, Jesus is sinless, its never a point of discussion, so not sure which Christian you spoke with. on Satan , he is not actively controlloed by God in the same way God does not control what we do ie free will. For Jesus and Paul, Satan was not a modern day “Exorcist” movie version of Satan. For Paul and all of the New Testament, Satan can only be understood in relation to Torah law. Satan was the prosecutor, the accuser. The “world” Paul referred to was the Judaen cosmos, not planet earth.

'I created evil.' In the Christian tradition, God was the original creator of Satan. So, yes, he did create evil. Indirectly. This is not in and of itself an attack on dualism! In my interpretation of the NT, God comes to earth to show us that he is human. Like us, he experiences temptation, he experiences moments of weakness, he experiences moments of doubt, and he experiences physical pain. This is the point of the revelation. So no, it is not a sham to claim that Jesus was tempted in the desert. In fact, it is entirely consistent with the gospels in their entirety, including the crucifixion itself. Going on your 'logic', you would conclude that God would never allow himself to be crucified, and so the crucifixion could not have happened!

So, at least from the perspective of the NT's authors, God was indeed human, even if only for a very short period of time (Jesus was, remember, an ordinary person for the first three decades of his life until he was baptised and the holy spirit descended upon him). By implication, God could indeed experience temptation, pain or suffering, not least because this was the actual point of the whole enterprise. Incidentally, this is the reason why Christ walked among the downtrodden of the world - among prostitutes, thieves and criminals. Again, going on the rabbi's dubious 'logic', God would never willingly lower himself to this status, as it would be beneath his dignity.

Kumiko Krchnak discovered the Root to which Isaiah referred and to which Paul placed his confidence in the prophecies fulfillment in Christ JESUS. Consider that Saint Helena was the first to find Christ's healing nature within the Cross, which turned out to be the mathematical embodiment of His (Christ's) Arrow of Time. The sum of the cross values from one generation to the next is 935. What is there to make of the female contributions of Saint Helena and Mrs. Krchnak to the discovery of His arrow of Time? The Holy Spirit finds a home in male and females alike. Towards the Spirits' reach and grasp is owed many new discoveries and beautiful works.
Well Paul is NOT saying that 'satan' is the "god of this age". Look at the context. He is calling the 'Jewish establishment' the evil god of the age that was blinding the truth.. Its another display of Paul's antisemitic hatred towards the Jews.

In my interpretation of the NT, God comes to earth to show us that he is human. Like us, he experiences temptation, he experiences moments of weakness, he experiences moments of doubt, and he experiences physical pain. This is the point of the revelation.
So no, it is not a sham to claim that Jesus was tempted in the desert. In fact, it is entirely consistent with the gospels in their entirety, including the crucifixion itself.
Going on your 'logic', you would conclude that God would never allow himself to be crucified, and so the crucifixion could not have happened!

The Holy Spirit finds a home in male and females alike. Towards the Spirits' reach and grasp is owed many new discoveries and beautiful works.

In my understanding, Adam and Eve were also banished from the Garden of Eden or the celestial 'paradise' and then forced to wander in the wilderness. Sin and evil did not exist in the world before, and only entered after we turned against God. In what sense is this different to the Christian belief that this world is corrupt and ruled by evil forces?
Second, unless you adopt the belief that the serpent is intended to be interpreted literally, you are surely led to the belief that it was an evil entity that sought to led humanity astray for its own purposes and designs? The snake was, in other words, as with most allegories (which OT stories actually are), intended to symbolise or represent something else.

@CatholicCrusader__30 And also with yours. As Rabbi Tovia says, the Church, especially the Roman Church, has not done a good job. Systematic abuse of kids is not indicative of the Truth. I don't have all the answers but I know Israel is the only way.
Paul was a Jew who was born in Rome, and lived in Jerusalem. Yet you have him doing everything in Greek! You have no evidence of any of this, yet you speak it as if it's fact while you dispute every fact in the New Testament as if it's a lie, in spite of the evidence to support it.
