I've seen a few people comment that I am downplaying Yuji for not including his feats against 15-finger Meguna. The issue is that Yuji still has cursed energy even when Sukuna left his body. This is stated in chapter 220 where Yuji's body is now "like a cursed object steeped in cursed energy". So this feat wouldn't be applicable to the video. Even if it was, Yuji scaling to less than 10% of 15f Meguna doesn't really change anything in the video. Thank you for the support on this one!

I think Asta and Yuji would instantly get along. They're both brawlic fighters with a handsome smile. Both sherish their friends more than anything. Both are workaholics. Only notable difference: Asta worked out all his life to be this buff while Yuji was pretty much born this way.

@greedy_arts3807 well that's because they forget that naoya is moving at 24 frames per second, with the speed of Mach 3. Just imagine a video that is 24fps, and speed it up to Mach 3. Huge chunks of that video is going to be missing. So it would look like naoya is phasing in and out of reality. This would make it hard to keep track of him.
Asta is simply far more physically powerful, his speed would end this fight in a second. Yuji is more naturally powerful and skilled at fighting however, but that doesn't do anything when Asta's stats are so much bigger from pure hardwork (and the difference in human limits in Black Clover being seemingly higher than JJK).
This is also a fight between natural talent and hard work because yuji is naturally physically strong while asta had to work extremely hard to be as strong as he is physically.
And the funny part is that Yuji still loses most of his fights, even with natural-born strength and hard work. That shows you how hard it is to be a great sorcerer in JJK universe. Can't really say the same thing for BC universe.

Asta was dodging lightpseed attacks pre timeskip in his BASE. His physical stats were also stated to be second only to yami pre timiskip. He is far faster and stronger physically than yuji in base meaning he would stomp. If you wanna equalize thier stats, yuji might have an edge mainly in martial arts but I still think asta is tougher as he was able to withstand a spell which literally drains life energy in his base and came out unscathed. His durability is off the charts which is why i’m still leaning to Asta

Mangas like black clover, fire force, dragon ball, etc are some of the few where the authors themselves specifically state characters are “lightspeed”. Then there’s series like bleach where people “claim” characters are easily light speed in travel when there is NO statements on it at all. Light speed is one of those tricky power scalings as the author has to make it explicitly known through statements to be true whereas bleach doesn’t do that. But yeah i’m gonna stop rambling

Side note, Yuji actually has martial arts training. He was trained since he was very young in multiple forms of martial arts. It's stated in the fanbook, and i believe, mentioned during shibuya aswell, but not in depth.
I think calling one magic knight equal to 1% of the stats of a captain is kinda iffy. Saying that one captain is worth 100 knights is also likely meaning that despite the versatility of all of these characters, the raw power of a captain is strong enough to make up for that. I would argue that due to the number of attacks and the versatility of them, that 100 magic knights would individually be significantly less powerful than a captain in terms of raw ability. Still doesn't change the fight though. Asta stomps, his verse just scales higher

misconception, yuji didnt damage the grade 2 cursed spirit when he was trying to save his high school friends because he couldnt control and apply cursed energy to his attacks at that time. Curses are actually conceptual, non corporeal life forms made from the cursed energy that's created from the collective negative emotions of non-sorcerers, and since they are beings made from purely cursed energy, it's said multiple times that cursed spirits are invisible, intangiable and invulnerable to non-sorcerers/non-cursed energy users. Its said that it's irrelevant how strong your attacks are as they wont damage cursed spirits, unless one can apply cursed energy to them.
To explain this further, non-sorcerers, unlike sorcerers, can't control the cursed energy that they are passively creating, and that excess cursed energy flows out of them to create curses. This applies to all cursed energy phenomena, Shikigami have the same features as curses, as they can't be seen, damaged, or touched by non-sorcerers. All the barrier techniques, flashy attacks, and things made from cursed energy are not visible to non-sorcerers.

I'm really curious how strong Anti magic would be on its own. Because Asta's base physical stats seem to be carrying. Anti magic is a multipler but its multiplying a beast of a character. How strong would anti magic be on its own? No Asta, also no swords. Because those swords offer a lot with their special abilities.
I knew my boi Asta would win. As I mentioned in the community post of this upcoming video even if you take away Asta's anti-magic, Asta is still considerably strong in his base. I do not know what is even the point of this video... BC universe is so far and beyond the JJK universe in power level that basic fodder of BC would be considered first grade (second strongest) level in JJK. Even Gojo and Sakuna stop at Zagred, which is like a small fly to people like Lucius. Of course Asta is way, way stronger then Yuji, even at the begging of the series. Current Asta low diffs the Verse.
No powers asta wins, with powers asta wins. Yuji has the better body type for boxing and has shown some crazy adaptability, but asta training his body since 5 is able to bust through walls, and survive yami's gorilla grip.

From what I know about Asta, which isn’t a lot, he’s actually a great fight for Yuji bc they are basically the same concept in their verse. Everyone else: magical shit Yuji and asta: these mf hands From what I’ve seen online, Since I’ve only seen JJK and read the manga, I think Yuji would beat asta because of how intuitively phenomenal he is at learning new moves and movement mechanics. As of chapter 215, I think it’s pretty clear yuji would not even need cursed energy to be strong enough to throw cars, but he’s also incredibly adaptable. He’s doesn’t fight in 2d, man is moving 360 degrees, with extreme precision and awareness. Yuji is incredibly hard to disorient with speed, he can maintain a fluid jumping of a disaster curse with todo using boogie woogie, a teleport technique that disorients even Mahito, all while beating the record of black flash around 45 minutes after he learned how to actually flow cursed energy and was told your mistake about black flash 1 time. He’s also so focused and in the zone that if he’s able to get off one black flash, you can almost certainly guarantee 3, unless the 1 was a finisher. Performing black flash requires both intense focus and precision and a clear mind. Yujis combat instincts lend themselves to him rarely needing to think while fighting if it’s in hand to hand. I also think Yuji is much smarter than he’s given credit for and one thing he’s extremely good not many people even comment on is how insane Yujis battle IQ is. He doesn’t often need to think about his combat while said combat is active, often strategizing for whatever the goal of his mission is. That means he can actively fight at peak while dedicating that combat IQ to analyzing Astas fighting style. I think the fight would be even for a stretch before yuji gains the upper hand and eventually knocks out Asta. I’ll be the first to admit if I was wrong, I’m typing this before I watch the vid. I think I’m right about yuji and Asta being a Todo and Yuji level jump duo. I pray for whoever catches both of their hands.
2 things. Number 1:Yuji doesnt get cursed energy from Sukuna. He has Sukuna but Sukuna doesnt really make him stronger. Its more like a final card Yuji pulled out in a bad situation. His cursed energy is his own. And number 2: who would win that fight if all of them were episode 1 strength
He does get cursed energy from Sukuna. This is confirmed in chapter 220 that even though Sukuna has left he still has cursed energy left behind. Its just a far different situation from, say, Kuruma and Naruto. Sukuna doesn't actively amp Yuji.
I love Broku, but watching him say Sukuna could be planetary because Yuuki turned into a black hole. Guy forgot that every curse technique has different mechanics. Yuuki isn't planetary on her own; she exploits the mechanics or her cursed technique to create a natural reaction caused by rules of density. In the same way, a child could roll a snowball down a hill and watch it grow into a giant snow boulder but cannot move a snow boulder; Yuuki can't destroy the Earth. She doesn't have enough energy. She can only trigger a reaction that destroys the Earth.
I've said this once and I'll say it again, if they were both equal stats, Yuji wins, if not Asta. Yuji without CE is barely capable of keeping up with Higuruma who is at least Grade 1 level. We can't really say for certain where among the First grades he is, but he is at least below Nanami, Todo, Mei Mei, and Kusakabe. This places Yuji without CE, at the best building level. While Asta without his Anti Magic or Ki, has durability that places him at mountain level. Asta tales this no diff

The potentiallity of those two strong bois fighting is literally near zero. Both of them have too good of a concious, and we can see that Asta and Yuji think similarly about stuff. However, if they were to fight no energy amps just their physical proweress, asta is just too strong physically. Now if powers were allowed, Asta might win due to zetten and other things. power scaling Revchi to Vongance is pretty wack. that kind of seems like cherry picking examples for your power scaling. Asta definitely is strong, but comparing him to Vongance, who's entire specialty is area attacks, and saying that he can pull off something similar is a bit of a stretch.

Why did you scale Revchi to Captain Vengeance the strongest captain as well as his strongest move? As Revchi was not apart of Golden Dawn and Purple Orcas is a pretty average squad. the next question is how does the Wizard King hold up half of a 100 ton sword when he was caught off guard by the weight? I feel like the claim that Vetos magic was low is a valid claim as he had to regen a limb and was getting drained by Anti Magic. Thanks for reading
I didn’t scale William to Revchi. I scaled Revchi to “1%” of William. Nothing actually suggests William is the strongest captain at the time. In fact, we know William scales = to Yami but Yami places Fuegoleon above himself early in the series. So William being the strongest captain is unfounded. He was the top candidate for wizard king, but that was because he was the captain of the best squad. That was also NOT William’s strongest spell. This spell is called “Magic Tree Descent” and is not his Miseltein. As for Julius, he should have superhuman base physical strength, pair that with reinforcement then it wouldn’t be that crazy for him to wield the 100 ton sword. Also, I don’t think it’s substantiated that Vetto’s Third Eye from was drained to the point of him being weaker than his base, otherwise he would have been easily beaten by the Bulls and not barley overcome. Because we know the gap between Base Vetto and Third Eye Vetto would be rather large. Thanks for the comment :)

Yes you can argue that the castle was magically reinforced but you can't argue EVERY single road or structure in the Clover verse Asta steps on is capable of withstanding 100 tons of pressure with such a small surface area, he would sink and create holes everywhere.

@@zangetsu5221 exactly, it's not a powers thing, it's a skill thing. Astas strong AF and has good coordination but doesn't deal well with people who are actually good at those same things, Yuji is a top tier fighter
Side note, Yuji actually has martial arts training. He was trained since he was very young in multiple forms of martial arts. It's stated in the fanbook, and i believe, mentioned during shibuya aswell, but not in depth.

I think calling one magic knight equal to 1% of the stats of a captain is kinda iffy. Saying that one captain is worth 100 knights is also likely meaning that despite the versatility of all of these characters, the raw power of a captain is strong enough to make up for that. I would argue that due to the number of attacks and the versatility of them, that 100 magic knights would individually be significantly less powerful than a captain in terms of raw ability.
Still doesn't change the fight though. Asta stomps, his verse just scales higher

misconception, yuji didnt damage the grade 2 cursed spirit when he was trying to save his high school friends because he couldnt control and apply cursed energy to his attacks at that time. Curses are actually conceptual, non corporeal life forms made from the cursed energy that's created from the collective negative emotions of non-sorcerers, and since they are beings made from purely cursed energy, it's said multiple times that cursed spirits are invisible, intangiable and invulnerable to non-sorcerers/non-cursed energy users. Its said that it's irrelevant how strong your attacks are as they wont damage cursed spirits, unless one can apply cursed energy to them.
To explain this further, non-sorcerers, unlike sorcerers, can't control the cursed energy that they are passively creating, and that excess cursed energy flows out of them to create curses. This applies to all cursed energy phenomena, Shikigami have the same features as curses, as they can't be seen, damaged, or touched by non-sorcerers. All the barrier techniques, flashy attacks, and things made from cursed energy are not visible to non-sorcerers.

Bc people always said that moment was plot armor. This is further supported in the manga when hes at yamis homeland too because asta performs worse without confidence, it is rare but, when he loses it, he does significantly worse, just like when he was training with the ryuzen 7. I do not know what is even the point of this video... BC universe is so far and beyond the JJK universe in power level that basic fodder of BC would be considered first grade (second strongest) level in JJK. Even Gojo and Sakuna stop at Zagred, which is like a small fly to people like Lucius. Of course Asta is way, way stronger then Yuji, even at the begging of the series. From what I’ve seen online, Since I’ve only seen JJK and read the manga, I think Yuji would beat asta because of how intuitively phenomenal he is at learning new moves and movement mechanics. As of chapter 215, I think it’s pretty clear yuji would not even need cursed energy to be strong enough to throw cars, but he’s also incredibly adaptable. He’s doesn’t fight in 2d, man is moving 360 degrees, with extreme precision and awareness.
Yuji is incredibly hard to disorient with speed, he can maintain a fluid jumping of a disaster curse with todo using boogie woogie, a teleport technique that disorients even Mahito, all while beating the record of black flash around 45 minutes after he learned how to actually flow cursed energy and was told your mistake about black flash 1 time. He’s also so focused and in the zone that if he’s able to get off one black flash, you can almost certainly guarantee 3, unless the 1 was a finisher.
Performing black flash requires both intense focus and precision and a clear mind.
Yujis combat instincts lend themselves to him rarely needing to think while fighting if it’s in hand to hand. I also think Yuji is much smarter than he’s given credit for and one thing he’s extremely good not many people even comment on is how insane Yujis battle IQ is. He doesn’t often need to think about his combat while said combat is active, often strategizing for whatever the goal of his mission is. That means he can actively fight at peak while dedicating that combat IQ to analyzing Astas fighting style.
I think the fight would be even for a stretch before yuji gains the upper hand and eventually knocks out Asta.
I’ll be the first to admit if I was wrong, I’m typing this before I watch the vid. I think I’m right about yuji and Asta being a Todo and Yuji level jump duo. I pray for whoever catches both of their hands.

2 things. Number 1:Yuji doesnt get cursed energy from Sukuna. He has Sukuna but Sukuna doesnt really make him stronger. Its more like a final card Yuji pulled out in a bad situation. His cursed energy is his own. And number 2: who would win that fight if all of them were episode 1 strength
He does get cursed energy from Sukuna. This is confirmed in chapter 220 that even though Sukuna has left he still has cursed energy left behind. Its just a far different situation from, say, Kuruma and Naruto. Sukuna doesn't actively amp Yuji.
Also world scalling makes this unfair black Clover world is significantly more powerful then most even for other magic base world

Yuuki isn't planetary on her own; she exploits the mechanics or her cursed technique to create a natural reaction caused by rules of density. In the same way, a child could roll a snowball down a hill and watch it grow into a giant snow boulder but cannot move a snow boulder; Yuuki can't destroy the Earth. She doesn't have enough energy. She can only trigger a reaction that destroys the Earth.

I've said this once and I'll say it again, if they were both equal stats, Yuji wins, if not Asta. Yuji without CE is barely capable of keeping up with Higuruma who is at least Grade 1 level. We can't really say for certain where among the First grades he is, but he is at least below Nanami, Todo, Mei Mei, and Kusakabe. This places Yuji without CE, at the best building level. While Asta without his Anti Magic or Ki, has durability that places him at mountain level. Asta tales this no diff

Let me start off saying I love our videos. I am starting this thread just for my own curiosity. I have 2 questions For you about the first half of the video. Why did you scale Revchi to Captain Vengeance the strongest captain as well as his strongest move? As Revchi was not apart of Golden Dawn and Purple Orcas is a pretty average squad. the next question is how does the Wizard King hold up half of a 100 ton sword when he was caught off guard by the weight? I feel like the claim that Vetos magic was low is a valid claim as he had to regen a limb and was getting drained by Anti Magic. Thanks for reading
I didn’t scale William to Revchi. I scaled Revchi to “1%” of William. Nothing actually suggests William is the strongest captain at the time. In fact, we know William scales = to Yami but Yami places Fuegoleon above himself early in the series. So William being the strongest captain is unfounded. He was the top candidate for wizard king, but that was because he was the captain of the best squad. That was also NOT William’s strongest spell. This spell is called “Magic Tree Descent” and is not his Miseltein.
As for Julius, he should have superhuman base physical strength, pair that with reinforcement then it wouldn’t be that crazy for him to wield the 100 ton sword. Also, I don’t think it’s substantiated that Vetto’s Third Eye from was drained to the point of him being weaker than his base, otherwise he would have been easily beaten by the Bulls and not barley overcome. Because we know the gap between Base Vetto and Third Eye Vetto would be rather large.

I tried to read black clover and I have read 53 chapters. It's painfully boring. People say it gets better, but I don't think I can handle it.
It was kind of disingenuous to use Vangeance as the example for a captain being equal to 100 regular knights. That number is probably far greater for a captain of his level as they all are clearly not on equal standing power-wise. It doesn’t alter the result, so it just felt like an unnecessary high ball.
At that point in the series it is implied that the captains are relative to the other so it wouldn't be a big difference in the number.
