Oh my gosh Jody how beautiful!!! I love how you can take these old pieces or plain Jane pieces and spruce them up and make them new and amazing again! Have a most beautiful night my dear sweet friend!☕😺❄️🌨️
Hello, vintage has that buffing tool. It kind of reminds me of the erasers we had in school ( if you are old enough to remember. The Vintaj buffing tool had different sides to us. I think I would try that before steel. The tool is not very expensive and it really does the job. I’m sure Vintaj has a video on their website, on how to use it. Love how your painting turned out. I’ve been wanting to try it. I’m planning on painting on some Mocha colored lucite flowers. I’m going to use the pigment powder with the liquid they sell to use with the powder and their brush. Probably use a little gold on the lucite flowers to brighten them up before I use them to make earrings. Mocha is the Pantone color of the year. I can’t wait to try this. Jodie you made it look so easy! Blessings👵🏻🥰😇
That is such a great tip! I will have to pick one up! And I can’t wait to see what you make Nancy! I’ve been wanting to dig in deeper to my artistic side!
Wow!!! Those beads with that focal pendant is absolutely gorgeous!!!💜💜💜I wish I had a way of sending you pictures so I could ask you about some beads I found in two different stashes I purchased. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Put you paints,3,4 how ever many it will fit into an oven mitt with enough mitt left over to grasp firmly then and twirl it around like crazy for 30, 45 seconds . They should be good and mixed and ready to use. Every once in a while I have to do a stubborn one a second time. Love your quirky unique pieces. 💜.
Love what you did to the pendant. I have never used paint (stain). Can these be purchased at any store ? Looking forward to the bead weaving tutorials.
You have to clear the tip on these paints / stains a lot using a thick piece of wire and not a needle. It is just the viscosity of the product and in the tips getting clogged.

You can send me a facebook message or an email! I have both in the description of this video! I would love to help!
Beautiful😍
I think we should seal it with protective coating to make it last
Yes, you are absolutely right! I should have sealed it with a protective coating. I can still do that!

Oh that's a great tip! I'll have to try that!
Will you have to permalac the pendant?
I probably should! I will do another more in depth video and use the permalac on it too!
@thisbeadedlife Thank you!

❤!
Hola! El resultado con las pinturas es precioso!!! Qué tipo de pintura es?? Le ha cambiado totalmente el aspecto
Hi! It’s vintaj paints. I have the links in the description of this video! They are so much fun to use! I think you would love them!
Love what you did to the pendant. I have never used paint (stain). Can these be purchased at any store ? Looking forward to the bead weaving tutorials.
I’m not sure about other brands! I know vintaj is used by so many others!
What is the difference between the paint and stain?
Paint will be more of a saturated color where stain will be a little more translucent!
You needed something round hanging inside or perhaps dangles on chain.
That is a great idea for another design!
You have to clear the tip on these paints / stains a lot using a thick piece of wire and not a needle. It is just the viscosity of the product and in the tips getting clogged.
That’s a great tip! I will definitely try that. Thank you so much!!
I have alcohol inks. Do you think that would work as well?
You can absolutely use alcohol inks to paint your jewelry!❤
Could this be used on copper
Absolutely!
Which Sam's beadbox were those pearls in?
They were in his shop not a box ❤
