To fully understand this chapter we need to bear in mind that Quranic verses are of two types. General verses talk about belief in Allah, good manners, and acts of worship. Specific verses, such as this verse,
"Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the tax, willingly submitting, fully humbled."
These kind of verses were revealed in regards to particular situations. This verse came at a time when the pagans of Arabia (and their allies) repeatedly violated treaties they had signed with the Prophet (ﷺ). Muslims had to fight for the survival of their newly established state in Medina. So this chapter discusses dealing with those who violated their agreements or broke the peace treaties and attacked the Muslims. Offenders were fought, unless they stopped their aggression. If they chose not to accept Islam, they were obligated to pay Tax. So remember that these battles were fought in response the betrayal of the Arab pagans, if they hadn't violated the peace treaties and attacked Muslims first then the Muslims wouldn't have retaliated.

Everybody saying Islam is not true because of this verse lack critical thinking and that upsets me.. The surah starts by talking about a treaty that was made between Muslims and Non Muslims.. Non-muslims didn't abide by the treaty and they killed Muslims.. In response, Allah ordered to fight those people who broke the treaty and complete the treaty with the people who are still following it.. How is this surah wrong? Can anyone explain?
It is not wrong my brother they simply can’t understand the verse and take it out of context. You are correct here id like to add that it also says if they make peace with you and pay jizyah then leave them alone yet people ignore this because they want to take the Quran out of context in an attempt to debunk Islam yet they will never debunk it

Sura Tuba 2 last Ayat
لَـقَدۡ جَآءَكُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ اَنۡفُسِكُمۡ عَزِيۡزٌ عَلَيۡهِ مَا عَنِتُّمۡ حَرِيۡصٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ بِالۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ رَءُوۡفٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ
[9:128] There has come to you a Messenger of Allah from among yourselves, who is distressed by the losses you sustain, who is ardently desirous of your welfare and is tender and merciful to those that believe.
فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَقُلۡ حَسۡبِىَ اللّٰهُ ۖ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ؕ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُ ؕ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِيۡمِ

Still indoctrinating children into believing that everyone that does not repent for their sins or simply does not believe, must be killed. @فرحن جما i doubt it. There are verses that say some people are made for hell and no matter what they do allah wont allow them to believe. Why would an all knowing all loving god purposely make some people just to torture them for eternity?
