- Aiming in FPS games with my hand like Tony Stark's repulsors. Do you think this is a better way to aim? Is it oddly exploitable?
This is the second episode of "Oddly Exploitable"
In this video I test if there's a better way to aim than a mouse. If aiming with a mouse has friction, inertia, and a limited range of motion, could it be improved upon with a device like this?
Vote if you think this is exploitable on the poll that is on my community tab now! Thanks for watching!

Gaming with monitors, some monitors have a 4 direction “joystick” on the back used to navigate the menu. (My Acer monitor has one). Now, 2 monitors with joysticks + the other buttons on the monitors = Gaming with monitors
This needs to happen
i like how you think
Dear god.
Good idea
I love how much I hate it
My mans literally re-invented vr controllers.
I assume you don't have an engineering degree LOL
@@MrMakingwavesmedia we get it, you have an engineering degree that you don’t have any use for
You mean palm controllers.
i think i love you
Who doesn't?
Kandy plays apex with a wii remote for next video?
Hi kandy
We love you too kandy. Hope Lil kandy is doing well.
Sup Kandy
This sounds like 'aiming with a wii remote' with more glue and code.
Nah he made the gaming glove from regular show
@@dragonfortyseven3118 which was a parody of the real NES power glove
who's gonna tell him contact with the air makes friction...can we start a gofundme to send him to space so he can be truly frictionless?
Not even mentioning the arm joint friction. We need to read muscle pulses
Just tell him to use a vacuum chamber.
it's called air preasure not friction Einstein.
@@MrMakingwavesmedia my man...
@@MrMakingwavesmedia no you fool the air is made out of gas which is made out of atoms that hit things and cause *friction*
I am probably describing this terribly but this is why things have drag then moving through air
I've been watching this man for a while now the sleeping in the ally way with beans is still probably my favourite but I honestly love the fact he's become a true meme lord with that double-barreled nose blaster
Man the editing quality has gone up.
It actually is too over the top and cheesy. The outdated mems dont help

Editing was top-notch way more enjoyable than most of your recent videos especially when you're in the warehouse making potato batteries
Man builds his own VR hand glove? It's good shit though. Need more dongle.
D O N G L E
I just wanted to say ur underrated asf with the content you make the editing is perfect and theres always ne w concept ideas u really deserve better
this man tried it in siege and we all know it he just didnt recorded it for business reasons
You're the incarnation of every single one of my gaming dreams
I appreciate all the editing you do! 😃😃
I came back to this channel after maybe a few months. Now what I can say first is that the editing and overall theme of the video makes me cry tears of joy and pure laughter. The editing is amazing. On the other side, just this video's idea alone, is awesome and totally was not expected. However may it be janky, it's still awesome. I just want to say that I really enjoyed this video in it's editing, idea, and theme. I am really excited for future uploads on this channel. The ideas are amazing and exciting. I know this comment is wayyyyy over what needs to be said, but this should not be a problem. My main point is this was awesome and I can't wait on the videos dude.
My girl and i were arguing over the phone but this seemed more important.
Yeah you're sleeping on the couch
Yeah, your a legend for being strong. Let's give this man next month. Just a month for this man's bravery. Then whatever is planned for next month can be there as well. But definitely next month 😂🤣
Seems like you have your priorities down I respect dat
oh yeah. it's all coming together.
Amazing beans, good paradox art, nice coding, need more of these.
Just watched the whole thing with a smile on my face, thank u bro, really nice video
The za is baked to perfection this time my dude, I can't eat cheese but this is just too good to miss
I feel bad for you bro, cheese is the shit
I love this new video style, I can really see your channel kicking back to life with it.
What about making nerf gun or something that actually aims down sight when u move it up to your face and map the trigger to fire in game
The editing was quality in this video, keep it up. This zah mad fine.
How about aiming with an eye tracker that would be dope😜
The fact that my comment has more likes than Mr homeless 😅
He better do it fr lol I commented the same thing long time ago
Does he not self torture enough?
I think it's actually cheating though
yess
That would be actually sick. Eye trackers got the fastest reflex.
If this idea was properly made into a product, I would genuinely be interested.
I mean Iron Man shooting glove is good and all but you lose a million points because it wasn't finger guns.....also my guy just reinvented the Xbox Kinect
Wrong the connect never had an gun or an glove
@@OneHunnitNoCapStannitOnBidnisz if you remove the glove he moved by moving his arm like the force a lot of kinect games moved like this
Oh lol he really did. XD
Found you earlier this year, you're amazing, you actually put time effort and thought into your videos
When you blink the game goes pitch black for 3 seconds though you need to aim with your eyes
Love these back to back banging vids, can't binge watch it if I already finished watching all :D
I feel like if he somehow attached the sensors to his fingers, it would in turn feel way more comfortable with more freedom to do fast, swift, and precise movements since our fingers are pretty much designed for that. Just swiping at the screen with your index and middle fingers and killing someone would make anyone feel like a strong force user, plus it's just a power move.
Now to eliminate any unnecessary air friction, you have to put your entire right arm in a vacuum chamber and aim with the iron man glove.
This is basically gyro aiming on one hand, but you have to face the palm forward. I think you should try messing around with gyro aiming, but maybe use the sensor from a dualshock 4 or dualsense (because those have pretty accurate results) and then work from there and see what innovations you can think of.
That would be evil if he used dual sense
He could basically can make a gun like controller for the game now. Just turning his gauntlet in to a crossbow then adding a trigger, aim and reload function and turning his foot switches into foward and back movement and that would be very awesome to watch!!! Btw great video, you are the best!
As promised, we shall call you Iron Man from now on
You do so much for each video. Truly impressive and respectable Hummus.
Tony Stark needs to take notes
Love the videos man, and just as a side note, i belive the mayflash dolphin sensor bar has a build in mode so you can use the wiimote as a mouse input
Okay okay hear me out, use a KEY BOARD AND MOUSE to play with, I know it’s so crazy and never done before but I think you have the potential in your channel to do something like this
homeless at the start : Friction makes gaming hard
Homeless at the end : Ok so friction does help
bro, the editing is so good, almost as good as a can of beans
You should attach three pulleys onto the glove one at the ceiling, and one on either wall, and then make it so that it takes more Force to get your hand moving, and then barely any to continue moving, that way you'll be able to stop, and have a more Steady Aim
The eye tracker would be the most op aiming method
I’m very glad some engineers find more enjoyment in TH-cam/sharing what they can do.
Wear headphones and use them as a controller while you are wearing them
He did airpods already
This is probably your best overall video. Content, editing, etc.... It sucks that the algorithm isn't helping you out on it.
Idea is a controller that uses muscle contractions as a way to shoot and aim.
Controllers do use muscle contractions to press button, how do you think you fingers move 5head
@@killa1two EMS r/woosh
That will work well with my IBS.
That one kid at the back of the class when the teacher tells them to ignore friction
I've wondered about something like this as well as using just a fingertip mouse sensor (similar to that one controller you tested with the thumb)
I’m trying to watch this while I’m eating and I keep laughing and spitting my food out 😂
What about using a graphics tablet for aiming? I tried that a few times years ago and it seems like it might be actually pretty good. With a graphics tablet, the only weight is in the pen, so it'd probably be even lighter than your glove. Maybe that's too easy for you, though. Might need to spice it up a bit by replacing the keyboard with a flight stick or something.
Editing on this was 1000/10 xD
bruh imagine just aiming with your hand

Lmao, I had an "Ad Countdown" when he was talking about the Paradox Art Tees, but in my head, I was ready to click "Skip Ad".
As funny as this is, I think he might be on to something...
Teacher: go to the corner and raise up your hands until I tell you not to!!
Ironman gamer: this is eazzyyyy
Homeless make a controller from wife that when your baby kicks it gets a kill in the game
Dude your content is so fast-paced and funny, I had to pause this video just so say this.
It is amazing.
Eat beans
Congrats to everyone who found this comment
I have an Idea use the same glove but put the sensors on your fist as if you are holding a gun, add a Button (Shoot button) on your Palm so it’s easy to press. Now you won’t have Wrist Problems at a more Precise Aim.
about 9:50 you say about it not being precise enough and how more hours would help with that... i reckon not having the linear translation would make it better in the long term. maybe I've misunderstood what it does, idk, but its worth a try in my opinion
Literally the best youtuber. Nobody makes content like you and I’m laughing every second. Keep it up bean boy
Forget this, I want a controller with even more buttons, TWICE the buttons. I want to have four separate joysticks
Homeless: Friction-Free.
Air: Am I a joke to you?
Dripping hot glue on the rubber glove you are currently wearing requires you to be a kind of a special person with unique set of values
See this is a good video man. Good editing and smooth brain fun!
The editing on this video is rlly good :)
i wrote this under last episode but musicians dont react to the notes, they play them intuitively so if u could rig up drums or a piano or something that might be exploitable :)
I CANT believe you made a KUNG FURY reference I've never heard anyone reference it ahahahha that was AMAZING
Bro Mr. Hummus can literally make a video talking about the most boring thing ever and it'd still be edited like a god
Ngl this is my favorite series on the internet atm
You could combine VR and one of those Omni directional gaming treadmill things which you could maybe recode or repurpose it to work in a shooter. This would allow you to use your legs to move in-game and you could focus more attention on aiming and shooting.
I like the idea of using the same type of input that uses finger gun, that way you can make use of your wrist and pointer finger, whilst fatigue and deceleration is easier!
Program a microwave monitor and fridge tower to be a part of your set up. Food and gaming all in one. The American dream
the last few videos have been much higher quality good job
Not very often a sponsored talk is as funny as this one is. I don't know who to thank though? Hummus man? Or paradox art.
I don't know if your hand sensors have to be a certain distance away but I think holding your hand like a gun, mounting the sensors on the front of your hand, and a button in the crook of your thumb for trigger would be neat.
I'd Say put the sensors on the front of your fist, and make a squeeze trigger in your palm, with a thumb button to ads.
I expected him to say "here's me taking a shit... With paradox art" is my mind corrupted?
He wasn’t kidding, this video is way better then his more recent videos
I think if you scaled your DPI non-linearly with hand speed it may be a little easier to aim. Similar to what you said with friction when you try to hone in on someone it's a little too sensitive. It would take a lot of tweaking and may not feel natural so I'm not sure, just an idea. Epic video as always tho!
Who woulda guessed he was capable of such editing skills
You could do a Camera Sensor Tracking system, where the camera above your hand with a sensor on top and Left click and right click on your fingers and if it moved like you would your mouse it would move and if you move your fingers down like on a real mouse it would aim and shoot so no need for a mouse less friction
Even though i don’t play siege anymore, you are still my fav youtuber
bro look if you can find one of those omni treadmills, that would be nuts to play with dude!
9:15 you should make it so if you bend your pointer finger, it will shoot. If you bend your middle finger, it will aim. Not even bend all the way down, just a little bit.
I also think it would be cool if you could bend your thumb and have the glove stop sending a signal, so you could lower your hand/reset your positioning without the mouse input getting picked up
This was fun. Good job.
this needs #1 gaming trending
You're so incredibly eccentric , I love it.
This sounds to me like the same question of whether, or not, any other ergonomic solution would help anyone play better or cause less fatigue. Things like this stationary mice with the roller ball, split keyboards, eye trackers, etc.
at this point he is one of the OG creative content creator of TH-cam like Ryan Higa but in gaming, not just gaming creative gaming i say xD
4:13 when the dog is rather doing something mundane
Another surely exploitable thing would be eye contact right? What's more accurate than where your eyes are looking you just look at the target and you're there. You can get software that tracks where you're looking, convert that to pixels on the screen, take the difference from the centre of the screen and then apply whatever aiming movement is needed to get the eye contact spot to the centre of the screen. Only problem is that your eyesight will move to track the target as it comes closer to the centre of the screen so you'll have to work in some solutions for that like maybe the tracker updates every 1/30th a second or whatever interval and then overrides the current aiming speed and direction etc
People are saying eye tracking, but I think head tracking would be more controllable. Think like a laser pointer on top of your headset.
Great video btw!
how about aiming with your eyes? idk if it's possible but maybe try and get an eye tracker device and program it so that wherever you look becomes the center of the aiming reticle so that way as long as you have your eyes on the target you don't have to rely on your hand eye coordination to line up the reticle. that to me would seem pretty exploitable. but keep up the good work on whatever you choose to do. I love to watch your videos.
Get motion trackers, set them up around your body to play siege. Example: One device on each shoulder, lean your left shoulder forward to look right.
That was the only sponsored video that i haven't skipped, so good 🤣
Audiophile headphones and Software audio correction to increase the volume of quiet sounds and decrease the volume of loud sounds so you can still hear after and while shooting. (This is called Dynamic Range Compression) This might just be exploitable, especially in games where you rely on sound. R6, CS:GO and Valorant are the first games this came to mind for.
Something to try?:
I remember seeing on the gadget show them using VR combined with a "gun controller" and a 360 treadmill to basically make it so every single movement you make irl gets captured in game. Imagine running, turning, aiming and crouching irl and it coming through in Siege for example. Time to get to ranked my non-homeless, homeless man?
Footswitches for leaning could be expoitable for those quiq peekins (nice vid btw)
