I watched this video religiously and I'm proud to say that I passed the Laurelton road test site this morning. I failed the Jamaica road test site twice. It's such a wonderful feeling knowing that you finally passed your road test.

Thank you so much for this video. I watched it many times and it helped me. 😊 I gave my road test at this location. Laurelton is the best road test site in Queens! The roads are so spacious. I would suggest anyone who is taking the test at this or any location to at least for once go to the test site and practice, I did the same and it helped me a lot to better understand the roads and the signs. One thing, this test site has a lot of bicycle lanes so be careful while driving. On the test day, I was excited and nervous too , but I tried my best to stay calm. My examiner didn’t talk much, but I can tell her energy was very nice. She was very calm. She gave me the exact directions as shown in the video. The test is just for 5 minutes. Don’t let your nerves control you, believe in yourself, focus, and stay calm. YOU CAN DO IT. Good luck 🍀✨
Took my test at this test site (Laurelton) and passed, the DMV people don’t seem to talk much they didn’t even reply to my good afternoon but hey all I need is a passing grade instead right, and that’s exactly what I got I PASSED!!!!. The instructor was very open to what he is expecting from my exam and he explained everything very neatly which helped me calm down and during the whole exam I was calm and settle Bcz of the calm environment the instructor created I was/am very thankful for having a generous instructor I realized he could have taken off more points to fail me but thankfully he didn’t and for that I am thankful!!! Those of you who have failed please don’t give up you are almost there and please don’t be nervous YOU GOT THIS!!!

I passed today! It took 7 minutes and all I had to do was right/left turns, three point turn and parallel parking. This video was extremely helpful however they don't take you out on the main road.
Thank you for making this video. I failed my road test the first time at Garden City Park as the rain was falling heavily that morning and the roads and route were just a mess. However, I discovered your video later that day when I was feeling down about failing at Garden City Park and your video motivated me to retake the test at Laurelton 4 weeks later. @@omarmohammed555 thanks for responding. My Test is this week at Laurelton area. Still so much snow on the roads. And parked cars are not aligned to the curb, many cars are jutting out into the lanes for driving. As a student driver, it's a little stressful.

Took my road test here last Tuesday at 8:30 am and passed make sure to check your blind spots and do the right stops at the the stop signs. Even if it was super early there was still a bit of cars and you find you results online after 6:00 pm

Just took my test today and I passeddd!!! I was so scared cause I failed my first one at Rosedale, but Laurelton is much easier and wider. The instructor was mad nice,we were communicating well. I only got 10 points, did the perfect parallel parking. I’ve watched this video like 10 times and I pretty much took the same way this guy did!!!!
Passed my test here February 15 2022. I failed the first time at Jamaica. Tip: take it here because roads are more wide but instructor are more rude here. And take it at 11:30am because they have lunch at 11:45 so less people will take it at that time and be on the road.

I did my road test here today and I passed! I failed at the Riverdale test site so I’m really happy. I watched this video while I was in the DMV line lol. My instructor was so nice. I was going too slow, she had to tell me to speed up I’m impeding traffic. I listened but was sad because I thought it would add points but she didn’t even penalize me for it. I’m so happy . I had exactly 30 points, so thank god I didn’t get over 30
I passed the test today with no errors. Thank you, whoever you are god bless you for your tremendously helpful video I have watched this video more than 50 times before my test,which helps me copiously. Last but not least,i recommended this area,very easy as compared to other road test sites.

And the test was literally less than 10 minutes.I’m so proud to say that I’ve passed my road test in this location on MY FIRST TRY!! Took the road test yesterday and passed. The street is pretty busy so make sure you’re extra careful and watch the mirrors. No lane changing here. Make sure you keep to the right, the streets are two ways and pretty narrow, and points can be taken out if you don’t keep to the right. Was way easier than I thought. I was tested on turns, parallel parking which was easy because there was a lot of space, 3 points turn. Good luck!!🍀
Wow, you covered the whole road test site in Laurelton. I took two road test there. The first one was on February 9th, 2018 and I failed it, but I passed on the second one on March 20th, 2018. Seeing this brings back memories and I remember on both times I've been there, how nervous I was for the road test. Seeing this at the beginning, I felt the nervousness in my stomach that I felt on those two days. Nonetheless, I remember when i failed the first time, how upset I was, but it brushed aside when the week passed. On the second one, after doing my best and followed everything on my driving lessons, TH-cam videos, and my first road test, after the test was done and I heard the examiner said that I passed, I was in a state of excitement throughout the entire day that lasted most of the week now that I knew that I can finally drive on my own. When I got my license 10 days after passing my road test, which was on March 31st, 2018, I finally felt the sense of freedom since I passed the road test. I'm so glad to see a video of the Laurleton Road Test site as it reminded me of all the effort I've done to get my license this year. :-D
It's not hard. Your going to do a few left and right turns, a three point turn, and parallel park. You will be nervous as I was. That's to be expected. Just take a deep breath and try to relax as much as possible. Take one step at a time and be sure that when you pull out from the start, signal, mirror check, and shoulder check to make sure its clear, slowly pull out and shoulder check quickly to ensure its safe and go to the traffic lane. If the examiner told you to turn right to where the bike lane is, signal, mirror check, and shoulder check to ensure its clear and when your about to turn, quick shoulder check and make your turn. o the same thing with all of your turns. Parallel parking, make sure you practice on that and every time you reverse, always look back before releasing your foot on the brake to show that your checking your rear blindspot. Any other tips you want me to share? You can also find youtube videos of driving lessons. My recommendation would be to use the Smart Test Drive channel. Just search it here on youtube as they provide alot of information and other videos. Let me know how you did. Good luck and just try to relax. If you fail you can always reschedule it and just do the very best you can.
@Jay Johnson Don't give up. I failed on my first try on the road test as well, so I understand what it feels like. It's not the end of the world. Re-take the road test again and do it again at the same site. You won't have the same examiner as they switch teams to different locations. Keep practicing and keep trying. Don't feel bad about yourself. Can you tell me the mistakes you've made if its ok and the points that was added and the total points you have?
I passed here today at 2:30 got my results at 6pm online i was so happy when i saw passed instructor 531 LRL was so nice and made everything very easy for me even when i parked to far from curb she told me it’s okay and we continued to proceed the road test
I failed mine today on 1/13 in laurelton. It was a very rainy morning and was still dark outside 😩 I was too nervous. I failed mainly because I wasn’t observant enough when turning, doing u turn and parking. And abrupt braking. Hopefully I’ll take it again.

i have to type this long message to you because the road test twice so far so i will tell you the mistakes that I made on the test that caused me to get points! I got Poor Steering Control: MANEUVERS and TURNING, Delayed braking/abrupt braking, inattentive to traffic: SIGNALS, fails to adequately observe/use caution, fails to anticipate potential hazards, uses mirror only/Fails to check BLIND SPOTS! Please tell me what all of them violations means! Thanks!!
Hope you are taking driving lesson from driving school... Poor Steering Control: MANEUVERS and TURNING >>> when mean you either you are turning more or less steering wheel. Delayed braking/abrupt braking >>> if you are driving >25 you should start breaking apporx 20 FT far away. And if you do sudden break they will take points off. if you dont put signal or late to put signal will lose point as well. Instructor will look for format and standard for driving . For example: GEAR, Signal, wheel (Steering), Look mirror, Look Back (moving your neck over the shoulder) . see another videos......
@@en_vy I did the parallel parking in the narrow two way road. I was asked to parallel park in between two cars which was a considerable distance away from each other but the distance was not too far either. About the distance in the video 2:19. (right side)
This video shows a similar route to the one I took during my road test. I also watched this video a lot and practiced at the site. I can gladly say that I passed!!

Took the test here today and got a rude examiner. He was very unclear with where to make turns, and he made me do a three point turn from the side of a car rather than behind a car after parking, resulting in me having to hit the curb in order to complete the three point turn. I have taken the test twice prior and used different driving schools, which all told me that examiners will make you do the 3 point turn right after parking. Not sure if I passed or not since I did everything else correctly, but I will update with the specific examiner and my results at 6 pm. The area is wide and easy to drive in but just beware of the examiners. Goodluck!

The route was similar to that shown in the video. I would advise anyone attending the road test here to go to the site 1 or 2 days before to get familiarized with the area. I am scheduled for next month. Had a horrible experience with a lady initials LRL She waited for the very last second to say left or right and some how in under 8 minutes she managed to deduct 90 points. Rushed me at the stop sign and all. Horrible Horrible experience. She also claims I didn't check my blind spot when pulling out and my instructor who was watching me said "I saw you checking your blind spot". "What is she talking about?" I did everything to the T because it was raining hard this morning so I was extra careful except when she told me at the very last second to turn left. I did a wide turn because again she waited for the very last second to say so. Had a scheduled practice test this morning at 8a. All went perfect. U-Turn perfect, Parallel perfect and so on. Hopefully I don't get her again because I will refuse to drive with her. :/
omg i’m so sorry the guy i had was a jerk tooo i felt like he was giving me a lesson and not just instructing me. he failed me because a car was coming to close. easy mistake that i can fix but he could passed me, he told me i did everything right just that

@@laurenalkrief1109 it was actually simple! Look up the road test address . You will be lining up a long a park. When I took it(twice there) I pulled out and made a right turn. The first time I had to park right there after the first turn but I failed coz of parallel parking. The second time(5th time taking the road test) he made me turn right then told me to pull over to and do a 3 point turn. Then parallel park right away. Good luck you got this 💯
Ugh I don’t know why this location isn’t available to me. I live here. I did my first test in Springfield and the dude failed me majorly. This is my neighborhood and I keep getting an error message when I try to book my next test.

I was too nervous. I failed mainly because I wasn’t observant enough when turning, doing u turn and parking. And abrupt braking.
Hopefully I’ll take it again.

Update: Failed successfully on the first road test. Going to the same venue on November 1,2019 for second one. I went to take a test on November 4,2019 for the 3rd time at Long island and failed.Finally,I passed the test by 4th test on 22 November,2019.

i have to type this long message to you because the road test twice so far so i will tell you the mistakes that I made on the test that caused me to get points! I got Poor Steering Control: MANEUVERS and TURNING, Delayed braking/abrupt braking, inattentive to traffic: SIGNALS, fails to adequately observe/use caution, fails to anticipate potential hazards, uses mirror only/Fails to check BLIND SPOTS! Please tell me what all of them violations means! Thanks!!
Hope you are taking driving lesson from driving school... Poor Steering Control: MANEUVERS and TURNING >>> when mean you either you are turning more or less steering wheel. Delayed braking/abrupt braking >>> if you are driving >25 you should start breaking apporx 20 FT far away. And if you do sudden break they will take points off. if you dont put signal or late to put signal will lose point as well. Instructor will look for format and standard for driving . For example: GEAR, Signal, wheel (Steering), Look mirror, Look Back (moving your neck over the shoulder) . see another videos......

@@en_vy I did the parallel parking in the narrow two way road. I was asked to parallel park in between two cars which was a considerable distance away from each other but the distance was not too far either. About the distance in the video 2:19. (right side)

Just for anyone else that’s going to take it at springfield gardens, I failed there. The streets are too narrow.
My first road test and I passed. Very easy. I’ve only been driving for 2 months. I suggest going here even if it’s far.

Took the test here today and got a rude examiner. He was very unclear with where to make turns, and he made me do a three point turn from the side of a car rather than behind a car after parking, resulting in me having to hit the curb in order to complete the three point turn. I have taken the test twice prior and used different driving schools, which all told me that examiners will make you do the 3 point turn right after parking. Not sure if I passed or not since I did everything else correctly, but I will update with the specific examiner and my results at 6 pm. The area is wide and easy to drive in but just beware of the examiners. Goodluck!

Update: I passed my test!! This was my 2nd attempt, 1st being at Fresh Meadows. My instructor was calm and gave clear instructions. The route was similar to that shown in the video. I would advise anyone attending the road test here to go to the site 1 or 2 days before to get familiarized with the area. Thank you so much for the helpful video!!

I am scheduled for next month. Had a horrible experience with a lady initials LRL She waited for the very last second to say left or right and some how in under 8 minutes she managed to deduct 90 points. Rushed me at the stop sign and all. Horrible Horrible experience. She also claims I didn't check my blind spot when pulling out and my instructor who was watching me said "I saw you checking your blind spot". "What is she talking about?" I did everything to the T because it was raining hard this morning so I was extra careful except when she told me at the very last second to turn left. I did a wide turn because again she waited for the very last second to say so. Had a scheduled practice test this morning at 8a. All went perfect. U-Turn perfect, Parallel perfect and so on. Hopefully I don't get her again because I will refuse to drive with her. :/

the guy i had was a jerk tooo i felt like he was giving me a lesson and not just instructing me. he failed me because a car was coming to close. easy mistake that i can fix but he could passed me, he told me i did everything right just that

@@laurenalkrief1109 it was actually simple! Look up the road test address . You will be lining up a long a park. When I took it(twice there) I pulled out and made a right turn. The first time I had to park right there after the first turn but I failed coz of parallel parking. The second time(5th time taking the road test) he made me turn right then told me to pull over to and do a 3 point turn. Then parallel park right away. Good luck you got this 💯

Ugh I don’t know why this location isn’t available to me. I live here. I did my first test in Springfield and the dude failed me majorly. This is my neighborhood and I keep getting an error message when I try to book my next test.
when you selected the time slot thats might not be available. Put Private browser setting then try to setup the roadtest
