Bro, thank you for this video, i was searching for a quick Nutanix Out of Box setup at my work (Olympia, Washington) this is awesome. Keep up the good work.
good video. We have a Lenovo HX installed pre-bundled with AHV and AOS. The onsite engineer set the IPMI IPs and we need to now login and setup the cluster. When we login to the Xclarity GUI and from there to the AHV console....I am unable to ssh the CVM IP (provided by the onsite engineer). I am new to Nutanix, can you please let me know how to find out the AHV and CVM Ips from the AHV console (commands)??? Also how to fix the error on the SSH connectivity to CVM IPs? Thanks in advance.
Thank you! If you can log in to the AHV console, use the following command to ssh into the CVM #ssh nutanix@192.168.5.2 after logging into the CVM you can view the IP addresses using the following commands: svmips: view CVM ips hostips: view AHV ips ipmiips: view IPMI ips
Hi great video guys, please is there a way to have with you guys the wiring plan (network ethernet and optical for sfp to switch) even a draft... Thank you guys
Normally on customer's end, we would use LACP where we would bundle all the interfaces on the nodes and on the switch side also we would port bundle the ports connected with each node so that the available bandwidth would double. Usually, two ports on each node and on the same on the switch side is bundled.
Yes it is necessary. If you have configured IPMI IP before initiating foundation then you dont need the connection, but it is recommended to do foundation with both IPMI and data ports connected.

@@DigitalNetworkSolution Thank you
Nice vedio 👌 but if you can make vedios on sfp module change and disk replace processes and network cables connectivity that really helpful for us 🙏👍
Sure, we will be making the video and post shortly.

Is IPMI port connection is mandatory to build ?
Yes it is necessary.
