Just got my v2 today, I figured out the sport is dual motor standard seems to be single, but I can't figure out how to turn on eco. It flashes as an option on the hud when you turn it on but there's no clear way to activate it

Heads up, received a v2 today, and the screws on the handlebars were super tight.
In the phantom V2 manual it says to connect the scooter to the charger before plugging into wall... maybe that should be changed?

Hi Ken, if you purchased the scooter directly from us or from Fluid Free Ride you can know for certain that it's a V2 :-)

Hey there, no the set-up is almost identical! The main difference in the set-up is there is no key ignition to start the V2 unit, instead you use the mode cluster to turn on the unit.

To turn on the V2 unit, you simply need to hold on the 'M' button from the right hand side button cluster!
what can I use to calibrate if I don't have an e-scooter bench/stand?
EDIT: Turns out a mini folding step stool handled the task perfectly!
what parts should I lubricate during assembly?
Hey there,
During assembly you should normally not need to add any lubricant to the unit! However it could always be a good idea to check your suspension and steering to ensure they are working smoothly! We recommend using any silicone based lubricants for this type of maintenance :)

Hi Robert, the V1 and V2 don't have Bluetooth compatibility unfortunately, but our V3 display mod will have that feature! Coming later this year :-)
Can you switch from KM to MPH?

Ordered mine already.. purchased the Phantom with mechanical brakes.. I am thinking about changing the brakes to Hydraulic. Is there any parts available to sell?

Hydraulic brake version is configured for 60v? This is news to me. I don't see this anywhere on the product page.
Good point, I don't know what that means either. I ordered the 52v w/ Hydraulic Brakes or so I thought... If it's 60v when it arrives in May I'll be thrilled. 🙂

I wish i could get one, but apollo does not like visa debits ? So weird. Never had any problems purchasing online in my life, this is the first time a company wont accept visa debit, its very odd ... now i have to look elsewhere for a scooter, that sucks big time !!!!

I've had my Phantom v2 for 9 months only put 20 miles on it and now I can't get it to power up. Trying to get a hold of anybody at Apollo is impossible. With the know issues with the Phantom there should a support phone number you can call.
My Phantom finally arrived today and I couldn’t be more psyched. I got it all put together and adjusted.
Side note : the levers and control units did not come loosened. They were all tight, right out of the box. There doesn’t seem to be anything damaged, but I have yet to get it out for a ride yet.
I did however have an insanely difficult time getting the folding latch into the up/locked position on the stem. I had no hope of doing it with my hands without injuring my wrists because it stopped about 70% of the way up. So I put a towel over a hammer and lightly tapped it until it finally worked it’s way into the locked position. As this looks to make things very difficult in the future for folding it, is there any advice to getting that folding latch to be less difficult and stiff?
I got mine Wednesday from FluidFreeRide and had the same problems, It's like they overtightened everything. I had to loosen the latch just a hair by turning the bolt for it with the #3 allen key to get to an appropriate amount of firmness.

mine was the same way out of the box. But after opening and closing the latch a few times it loosened up and stopped giving issues.

Also; why the heck is the single/dual able to change from dual to single while riding if it’s dangerous?!? Maybe you should update the firmware to only allow single to dual while moving, otherwise stop to change back
I ordered mine with hydraulic brake on March 13th and I am having butterfly in my stomach now. This is going to be my first electric scooter - a little nervous about being stopped by the cops when riding as I'm in Toronto and it's still not legal to ride e-scooter other than within private properties. But what the heck, I need a reliable and powerful one to carry my 210 lbs body up slopes and it's actually much safer than most other lower power e-scooters. I hope I can convince the cops to let me go if I ever get caught! By the way, thanks Trent from Apollo to answer my many follow up email questions after putting in my order. All the best!

It's also not legal in Quebec. I've been riding since july this summer. My advice is, wear a proper helmet and protection, don't exceed 32km/h on bike lanes, always respect traffic regulations.
I've been riding intelligently since i have my scooters, encountered cops a few times and they didn't arrest me.

@Apollo Scooters: A couple of questions. What percentage of battery level or voltage should I charge the Phantom to and how low the battery should I charge it (not talking about storing it for the winter). Also, can I wheel the scooter without turning on the ignition? Thanks

Having ridden a competitors waterproof scooter in pouring rain, I beg to differ, certainly had fun, you see when you're passionate about riding you can always have fun, rain, hail, sun, traction or slippery.

My safety pin doesn’t go in all the way and I just got my scooter.

Well depends on where you live. In Toronto, the cops here don't care and you can go 40+KM. Though if you are worried the Dualtron Mini is a good option.

Guys, there is a lack of videos on the Phantom. How do you keep customers excited while they wait for theirs Phantom and also while attracting potential customers? Make videos and showcase it. Talking about it is fine but people respond better with visuals. Go to the street, ride it, and record it in action while talking about it. People are asking for videos or some kind of video review by someone in the internet. E scooter guide did a written review but I want to see it in action. I want to see what I am getting. All I seen is obscured videos in the dark or black and white videos. I get it, it's Phantom, but I would like to get a really good look at it. The scooter is black. Don't use anything low light settings or dark filters please.
I feel the same way. I was hoping for ESG to have an actual review video of the Phantom in use as opposed to just pictures on a video, specially since they have one.
The new thumb throttle does not give me a good impression.
@@jp8479 the thumb throttle looks way better than the old one. It's in a comfortable position. The old one extended and you had to reach with your thumb. I like the aesthetic of the bike. It looks solid. It has class. I am excited for it. But I have not seen it im person and I am not receiving it anytime soon. If I can just see people saying good things about it, it will make me feel good about my purchase. Can't wait
We are aware there is a hunger for more riding action shots! Unfortunately, we are based out of Montreal and the weather is still cold.

Hi Kevin, we apologize for the inconvenience. The V2 Phantom does not have the key ignition anymore, which we have covered in some other content pieces. You can now turn it on by simply holding the 'M' button on the control module :-)

Better buy a lifetime supply of tubes for these things. They go flat constantly and I mean constantly. The tires on your brand new VERY expensive scooter are paper thin and worthless. I'd be embarrassed if I was responsible for this shameful oversight. Now, I'm not on gravel roads or close to its max weight capacity. 5 flats in 3 months of owning it.
