Wow! My husband and myself visited Mt. Rainier and Mt. Saint Helens in August of ‘23! We enjoyed the Ape Cave lava tube at St. Helens. Beautiful! Absolutely stunning! The picture of being closer to your mom is precious, both my parents are gone and this made me a little emotional too. God bless!! ❤
Thank you for sharing your memories with us! Over the summer we took a trip to San Fran, Yosemite, Southern Cali and Arizona for 3 weeks... and this was so helpful!
Wow! Great job on such a huge accomplishment!! You captured the story of this trip so beautifully! Thank you sharing and for the inspiration!!! I love everything you create! ❤️🤗
I love travel journals❤ I just got home from a trip to UTAH. Visiting family but had a couple scenic day trips amidst the surrounding mountainous area! Ready to work on my journal!!
Loved your journals and this video. My husband and I had our adventure driving from North Florida to Wyoming and back in May and this has been so inspiring to start. lol I'm still editing pictures from the trip since we visited so many places in three weeks! Washington state is definitely on my list! Thank you and God bless you!
I really love the way you talk about your journal and the little bits of it you're reading out. I'm just starting to get into the habit of journaling. For a long time I've been clinically depressed and I preferred not to think about my life at all; when I did think about it, I saw it as grey and meaningless. Now as I'm getting better I'm training myself to look at life the way (I think) you do - as fascinating and worthy of being remembered, even when I'm not climbing mountains. So thank you for the inspiration and for the beautiful spreads that you share! Also I have to say, the way you talk about and share your faith feels really genuine and... unpretentious? I'm an atheist but I enjoy seeing people living with faith in a sincere and authentic way. Sorry if I'm coming off wrong here. I hope you take it as a compliment it was meant to be :)
Love your journal! I live in Washington State,, and love our mountains. I live very close to Mt. Saint Helens. I have never climbed a mountain, but just enjoy God's creation. I admire you for being able to make it to the summit! Congratulations! That's pretty amazing!
Love this and your ideas for journaling. I’m currently working on a journal of my Hawaiian trip I recently took. We were over 10,000 ft up at a volcano we visited while in Maui…and yes the views are incredible. We didn’t hike it though…lol. Congrats on your hike to summit!
Did you do all of your journaling the day you got back or did you bring a small notebook along? I'm sorry if I missed you mentioning that. Thank you, it's a beautiful travel journal!
I know I meant to mention it and forgot! I take notes in the Notes app in my phone and journal over the course of a few months when I get back from a trip ☺️
You don’t need a specific type. I typically prefer something with a higher paper weight so the pages are less flimsy. Check out my how to choose a notebook a video th-cam.com/video/9JU7EiVPWIs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IsZIhvzcveE5BVu6
@@MyAbidingJournal Thank you! I can’t decide between A5 and B5 for a nature/travel journal!! I just need to jump off and try one! You have so many ideas for both sizes! 🩵

Thanks for sharing. Is there a certain type of notebook to use (i.e., paper) to add postcards, stickers, etc?

Hi! I love your channel and this journal. May I ask what size it is?
It’s an A5 Archer and Olive ☺️

@@loreesmith5418 if you’re just starting out, I would recommend starting smaller unless you plan to use a lot of photos
