Maybe some soapy water (washing up liquid)will take overspray off,let it soak a while ,if its waxed it should come of without too much effort,get well soon ,you sound a bit rough Danny👍
I use a AKASO EK7000 pro for recording when I'm on my bike i got it from Amazon i paid £78 and comes with a waterproof case and 2 batteries and charger the picture quality is almost gopro standard
