Exploring Switzerland means the Swiss Pass for many people and for others, renting a car in Switzerland could also be a choice to explore the beautiful country by road. In this video, I will show you both the options from an Indian tourist point of view. In this video, we will compare the Swiss rail pass and its benefits with the possibility of renting a car in Switzerland and taking the roads exploring it’s many beautiful towns and villages.
As an Indian vlogger and an Indian youtuber, I visited Switzerland on a budget trip and recorded my entire experience of a budget trip to Switzerland and even though I was a solo traveler to Switzerland and not many who go to Switzerland on a honeymoon or visit Switzerland with family, I still rented a car which came out to be cheaper than buying a Swiss Travel Pass.
I rented a car in Switzerland for Rs. 13,600 from Alamo car rental at Zurich airport and drove from Zurich to Geneva and on my way stopped at some of the prettiest cities and villages on my way.

Renting a car in Switzerland gave me full flexibility to explore the country at my own pace and then visit as many villages as I want. But that does not mean that I have not included full details about the Swiss Travel Pass. It is one of the best ways to explore Switzerland by train and enjoy its truly beautiful scenic views and use more than 500 free entries to museums all over Switzerland. Very detailed and easygoing ways you described sir it will help many desi travellers,Main train aur uber me ghuma hun jisme merc volvo hote the jo ki trains ke barabar hote the 1000-1500 for uber in the city and full fledge desi food with dal rice roti chicken costs around 4k and intercity trains 7-8 k per person so for a couple it costs 2.5 lakhs for a week with all luxary and aapko aisa feel bhi nahi hoga jaise aap traveller ho you will feel like local and will enjoy every bit of it
