These things are just free-for-alls, with everybody all talking at once. They give me a headache almost IMMEDIATELY.

"Well you're asking me about this, but what we really need to be talking about is THAT!" I liked Megyn Kelly because she usually called that out. But a lot of moderators seem to just let it slide, even though it's basically a candidate saying straight up, "I do not feel like answering your question, but I intend to talk anyway."

@@ncreson Hey there, thanks for asking. Housing and rental prices have skyrocketed in most major cities across Canada. Average rent in my city is 2k, in Vancouver it's almost 4k. Our main GDP growth from expansion through immigration. Unfortunately our housing cannot keep up with demands so existing and new citizens are all competing for the same property despite having enormous amounts of space to build on. Don't even get me started on our lack of competition in grocery stores driving prices sky high! The CEO's of our major grocery stores are reporting record profits while the average Canadian has to pay 27 bucks for a chicken. Our middle class is being wiped out. There are still many things to love about Canada, but affordability isn't one of them. Not anymore.

I live in a smaller city (Boise, ID) that's supposed to be on the cheaper side and I looked and our average rent is in the $1600s USD, but converts to over $2200 CAD. In Seattle, its $2200 USD which converts to over $3000 CAD, while in New York, it's $4742 USD, which converts to over $6400 CAD. So also similarly expensive.
The only way to get rich by losing money is to money laundering. The Deutche bank was using Trump to launder money for the Russians, the Saudi’s, etc etc. Of course they were happy to keep him.

As of now, this has 68 likes too many. It's filed as a civil suit for a number of reasons. But basically, it takes a larger collaboration to meet the jurisdiction requirements for the defendants if they opt for a criminal trial, and it's easier to win a civil suit than a criminal case because the burden of proof is significantly lower. Basically, if they opted for a criminal charge, there's a high probability that it would take even longer to go to trial and that they would wind up losing anyway. That wouldn't bar them from seeking a civil suit later, but at that point it's potentially 2030 or beyond by the time this thing goes anywhere. They're trying to make something happen more quickly than that.

Business fraud is a crime. This is a civil trial, and he has already been found liable. Now this is just the judge trying to decide how much he has to pay as penalty. The criminal trial for fraud was brought by Bragg. It was the first arrest. This criminal business fraud has not been tried yet, but it's on the calendar somewhere. Yeah, just so many trials at this point ... The wheels of justice grind slowly.....

As of now, this has 68 likes too many. It's filed as a civil suit for a number of reasons. But basically, it takes a larger collaboration to meet the jurisdiction requirements for the defendants if they opt for a criminal trial, and it's easier to win a civil suit than a criminal case because the burden of proof is significantly lower. Basically, if they opted for a criminal charge, there's a high probability that it would take even longer to go to trial and that they would wind up losing anyway. That wouldn't bar them from seeking a civil suit later, but at that point it's potentially 2030 or beyond by the time this thing goes anywhere. They're trying to make something happen more quickly than that.

I live in a heavily Democratic area of a heavily Democratic state. This past weekend when I was out shopping I was approached by someone to sign a petition to get Chris Christie on the ballot. "You don't have to vote for him this is just to get him on the ballot." Because he's the least bad Republican running.
I'd rather face a term of him,if it came down to it,than another of Trump. We might actually make it through without nuclear war or throwing away the constitution.
