Actually, Mikey only said his brother died. He didn't say when or how. At the end of episode 3, he said his brother was part of a gang and they kept fighting all the time. Basically what the boys in Toman are doing too by fighting other gangs.
I think Kazutora just broke down and couldn't take the guilt of killing Mikey's brother. So in his broken mind, he rationalized it that if it weren't for them doing that for Mikey, this wouldn't have happened. So therefore, Mikey's fault. Totally insane of course, but provides some depth into who Kazutora is.
What a trick Wakui played with this reveal. Mikey says in ep 3 that his brother's dead, doesn't tell Takemichi anything about Kazutora AT ALL, leaving Takemichi to find it out from the one who was there to see it happen. What an absolute mess of a backstory for Mikey and his friends.
I guess Kazutora blamed and wanted to kill Mikey because he did it for Mikey. He came to a conclusion that without mikey he wouldn't try to steal something or even kill someone
But Mikey didn’t force him to get the Bike for him plus Baji knew that Mikey wouldn’t be ok with them stealing it but somehow Kazutora still feels like it’s Mikey’s fault and that makes no sense to me I’m really not a fan of Kazutora as a character his logic just doesn’t make sense to me🤣🤣🤣
