In this clip, Aries Spears reacted to the list of the “50 Worst Rappers of All Time,” and he thinks the list is accurate aside from Pitbull being on the list. Aries explains that Pitbull is in his own lane, and he does a lot for his community. When it comes to Cardi B being on the list, Vlad says that Cardi shouldn’t be on the list, and Aries says he can’t get past her voice. Aries and Vlad then debated other names on the list, including Chingy, French Montana, Ying Yang Twins, and Lil Uzi Vert. Aries explained that when it comes to top rappers, it comes down to skills, and a bigger debate arose when Eazy-E’s name came up on the list. Vlad stated that no West Coast rapper would ever put Eazy-E on a worst rappers list, and Vlad pointed out that Eazy-E pioneered West Coast hip-hop.

Exactly. Vlad thinks hit songs means you can rap. Desiigner had hit songs doesn't mean he can rap
But the thing is rapping ability is subjective, while when it comes to hit songs numbers don’t lie. You can say the most simple thing but the way you say it in your delivery can make a huge difference. NBA Youngboy is a great example of what I’m saying. He’s not a top tier lyricist such as the Kendricks or Coles of the game but regardless if you like his music or not if you look at his stats you cannot deny that he is one of the most successful artists of this decade

I’m not disrespecting Easy, I’m a fan…but you have to be fair: the “worst rappers” title is clickbait... but if we look past that- it’s really a list of very successful rappers that are overrated based on 2 categories: 1) they sound good on the tracks but they’re not that good lyrically, or 2) they don’t write their own lyrics. Easy is on there for the second reason. As much impact as he had on the industry, and signing other guys it’s still true that those other guys were all better than him; and they wrote his lyrics. Same can be said about Dr Dre. Again: I love the music.

Either way it’s a pointless conversation because rapping ability is subjective, what y’all need to understand is that there is no magical hip hop handbook that lays down the criteria of what makes a song lyrical/good. I think Vlad is not addressing the fact that nearly a 100% of Eazy's first album was written by Ice Cube! And in the latter years of his career, his lyrics were written by the likes of Dresta, B.G Knocc Out, MC Ren, The DOC, etc...
So even if I personally don't believe he deserves to be included in the "worst rappers" list, to say that he's equal to the 2Pacs, Ice Cubes, & Snoop Doggs of the world is really absurd to me!!!

Eazy Did write some of his songs after NWA. One of my favs that he wrote was “Tha Muthaphukkin Real” FT Mc Ren. His last recorded song. However we can’t put Eazy on a wack list because he wasn’t the writer for most songs. He said himself that he’s not a rapper. Now his impact in the music industry is definitely GOAT. He shouldn’t be on the wack list because he’s simply not a rapper. And the songs others wrote for him were damn good songs.

I think it comes down to actual rapping ability and overall impact. Vlad seems to be taking the overall impact side and Spears seems to be taking the actual rapping ability. The list seems to be going by rapping ability tho cause a lot of the names mentioned made hits like Nelly and Future.
Vanilla Ice actually had a solid flow, it was more about his lyrics that ppl didnt like.
Eazy e’s first album smashed it to pieces. Eazy e on both nwa albulms was dope as fuck. Vlads right here. As a rapper I wouldn’t put eazy on the levels of Tupac or snoop tho. But all round superstar , ceo , icon , breaking down doors , eazy e was the whole package. Very important for how the west coast developed into hip hop

At that time he was the dopest rapper. Those three albulms are what made eazy e. Everyone saw him as a dope rapper at that time.
@@leonleon2276 I was an Easy E fan.. I still am.. but I don’t look at him as a rapper.. he’s an artist.. Dre made his beats, Cube, DOC, and Ren wrote ALL his lyrics.. they use to have to punch in his vocals one line at a time cause Easy wasn’t a rapper..
