That's a neat idea but a logistical nightmare I think. LEGO hasn't ever really done anything like that to my knowledge, and it'd anger a lot of collectors and fans who want certain ones or all of them. It's a really cool idea though.

The X-Wing Fighter was now just perfection. For the first ever one true time with original trilogy X-wing Fighters, proton torpedo launchers. Also spring-loaded cannon shooters on each wing and an interesting way of opening the S-foils.

The worst was FO AT-ST (although that serves great in an Imperial Factory) followed by the the Battle Pack with Ki Adi and Barris Offe the two best worst sets are AT-Hauler and the Conveyex Train because they lacked the accurate strings and way to small. The best for me: BB-8 May 4, DJ (boricua actor, I just had to have a figure of his), Mini AT Hauler (needed a small work); Solo Battle Pack (now this is a Battle Pack that Imperial fans love), Tatooine BP (first Jawas for me), Solo and Moloch speeders (both look great on a City display), Enfys Nest (shame we never got to see the face underneath of both Enfys and her soldier), Sandspeeder (I label this as a Battle of Jakkut ship), Tie Fighter (a great set that can be used for anything you want).
I love the Jedi and clone trooper battle pack. It's a quick and cheap way of getting Ki Adi Mundi and Barris Offee, two characters whose previous versions were the atrocious big-eyed clone wars version. I just personally loved this set and picked it up the second it came out.
I agree with your buildable figures list. I would change just a couple things on your Polybags and promotions list though. I would move the Kylo Renn’s shuttle to before the minifigure stands and the Darth Vader pod back before the DJ figure. I STRONGLY disagree with your actual sets list.
The Han Solo looks actually horrible and I wouldn’t guess it was him if I first saw it. Also I thought that the Conveyex was good. I wish they sold a separate set of other carriages though.

My grandpa bought me a tatoinee battle pack last year when he went to Thailand. Personally I think it is ok as you can make the jawas and use the other character parts and lego parts to make a moc or something. Or you can make a huge bucket with a removable cap that has a handle where you could store your jawas

I think your a bit obsessed with the whole build your army thing, but that’s not the point of battle packs. The point of a battle pack is to be a small play set with a couple of figures and a neat little build that a child can play with for a cheap price.
This was one of the last years before I gave up on lego due to pressure from my family and the death of my Grandma. Some of my favourite sets actually came from this year, probably my all time favourite being the Grevious speeder, as Windu and Grevious were some of my favourite characters and I could never afford any of the older sets from 2014, when I was too young to buy my own lego. I also get the hate behind the Clone battle pack, however that was one of my all time favourite sets, because it was the first time I could get my hands on a plain phase 2 clone (I know, pathetic) and another one of my favourite characters, Ki Adi Mundi. Also The last set I cought on my own was probably Anakin's starship, it was just so cool to me!
I don't like it when you get a battle pack with one foot soldier two officers and an engineer. However it's handy when you want to replace standard troops for gunners on bigger models.
Just got it on clearance at target for $60, and at first I was skeptical but that was because I thought it would be smaller. Overall worth the purchase!
Weenkerz I think it was a decent set. The only issue I have is that the interior space is not as well utilised as the previous version. My only other complaint is the inclusion of kenobi and r2. Even though I understand Lego included them for a bit of conflict in this set it still is unfortunate.
