In this video, we have with us our rocking host Mr. Vivek Bajaj, co-founder, StockEdge, Elearnmarkets, in conversation with Mr. Rakesh Pujara, who is in the finance industry for the last 25 years.
Rakesh has over 25 years of trading and investment experience in the Indian equity markets.
He completed his Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University in 1992 and ICWA from the ICWA Institute in 1996.
In the initial part of his career, he worked in the Finance departments of different firms in diamond, exports, and media industries. In 1999 he joined Shree Naman Securities & Finance as a Finance Manager. In 2002, he established the proprietary trading desk at Naman and grew it to be the major contributor to the firm’s revenue.
Mr. Pujara also talks about his initial days and the downfall he went through when he was unaware of the market and its trade. After going through a lumpsum loss he realized the technique of surviving and making money.
The speaker will talk about intraday trading, rule-based trading, and techniques that will help people earn money in the market. He gives a background of the NSE and BSE in the previous years including the downfalls and scams that happened in the past.
The pitfalls of system trading and the quantitative parameters are also included in this presentation, as he goes deep into the trends of the stock exchange.
The realties are also included in this discussion and the qualitative parameters are discussed thoroughly for the viewers, which shows the importance of objectivity in trading.
The method of trading is also demonstrated through the buy and hold, and system-based investing list. He also explains the concept of leverage, which needs to be understood before using them. It is the role of the investor and the trader to look into the aspect of leverage and take action.
CWA is considered as a Holy Grail, which is also explained in this video and it should not be missed under any circumstances.
The focus of this video is on the art of making a profit in the share market through rule and system-based trading, which is not taken seriously by beginners in the industry.
