(Pour a little at a time into the butane) once it stops bubbling, that means the butane has been purged. you can now place it in the freezer over night. All the fat lipids will be floating on the top the next day. Run the entire batch through a filter, then evaporatorate the everclear. It will taste better and come out more of a shatter than a wax. Drop pressure to -32 and turn off valve, turn off pump and let sit for an hour, give warm water rinse and repeat process 3 times to purge properly. Since you are ingesting this, I would suggest you look into a better purging method. I haven't done a butane extraction in a long time, better off using liquid nitrogen and it's almost the same price as butane.

No not necessarily. Depends on volume, amount used and other variables. I agree in the sense that better to be safe then kill more brain matter then required. But the small amount of contamination from butane is far less of a concern then the combined unwanted chemicals due to burning plant material, tar smoke , etc, etc.

If you leave it out in air and keep it at a liquid temperature it will naturally degas, butane degases at room temp even, but the liquid is thick so slightly higher temps releases it quicker.
you can do this exact same with ever clear instead of butane and make RSO. you won't be able to properly purge butane out so smoking is out of the question. eating it . aka. RSO - very potent

Dude, I don't mean to rag on you. But What you are doing is very dangerous. And the way you are doing it. You are making it more dangerous. First off you don't have to, and you shouldn't run your pump all the time. The whole point of the vacuum chamber with the gauge is. You take your vacuum to - 29 close your valve and shut your pump off and it will stay at - 29. Now your finished product is still full of butane. And most likely has pump oil in it. Because the way you kept your pump running and opening and closing your valve. That pump oil will get sucked into your product. I've been doing this for over 20 years. And I don't even smoke the shit. I make it for a lot of people who don't know how to do it or are afraid to do it. Plus they like how clean my product is. And I charge them a fee, because most the time I'm blasting their trim and or buds. This is the best and safest way I have found to run a backyard operation like this. First off I do ALL the blasting outside behind my garage. Into a Pyrex dish. As soon as I'm done blasting. It's about 50 feet to walk into my garage and the BHO is bubbling like crazy already. Now before I even started blasting. I have my vacuum chamber and pump hooked up. I also have a electric skillet with water in it. Heated up to about a hundred degrees. So now thats all ready before I walk into the garage. But there is one more thing I do, which all my customers love. And that is I have a bunch of pieces of parchment paper cut and ready with my scale sitting out ready. Now what I do is once I first walk into the garage after blasting. The BHO is still a liquid and I pour out one gram on all the parchment papers. Now everything is weight out. It's easier to work with when it still in liquid form. And the best part is the finished product comes out like glass. Instead of the mesh shit you have. Ok, so now that I have everything on 1 gram papers. I put my vac chamber into the heated water that is in the electric skillet. I put the pieces of parchment in the chamber. I put some quarters or something on the corners so they don't fly around when I start the vac. I put the lid on and try and pull a vac to - 29. But the BHO at this stage does something, that is called muffins. Yours was doing it. What you have to do is turn your pump off and release the negative pressure to zero again. If you don't the muffin will keep getting bigger bigger and explode and get shit all over the inside of your chamber. And it's a bitch trying to clean that shit out of your chamber. I usually have to pull and release the vac 2 or 3 times before it stops the muffin. Once it stops, I pull a vac to -29 close the valve and shut the pump off. And the vac will stay at - 29. Now I keep the water in the electric skillet full and at around 100 degrees. Now I purge it for about 2 hours. Then I release the negative pressure. And pull the vac up to -29. And I do this until there are NO bubbles in the product at all. It takes about 7 days. And the product looks like glass. It makes your mouth water. You see anytime you touch or move the BHO it will make it cloudy and it won't come out like glass. I've also determined that when you do touch it or move it it's harder to purge and just about impossible to get all the butane out of it. I've even gone as far as finding out what manufacturer have the least amount of contaminates in there butane. And those are the only ones I blast with. To keep my product as clean as I can. Dude like I said I'm not trying to rag on you. But that shit you are making and smoking is full of butane. And that's what you are getting high on the butane. Not the THC.
