Celebrating Emma's 4th Birthday during MCO

Emma's birthday this year was definitely going to be very different. It was 21st April 2020 and Malaysia was on day 35 of Movement Control Order due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. At this time, the entire world was practically on lockdown. China had slowly begun to open its doors and now the US was the new epicentre,
Under the MCO, we weren't allowed to leave our homes unless and only for essentials. So for baby girl's 4th birthday, we celebrated in what was considered the new normal - at home and connected with family via video call.
That morning, Emma was so excited to get out of bed. She was begging to open her present from the time she opened her eyes! We also got her a huge wooden doll house. We bought it during Lazada's Birthday Sale in March at a great price and it had enough time to be fulfilled and shipped before her birthday. it was a good call to get her that gift. No one knows for sure when will the MCO be lifted- at least this doll house gives her some excitement everyday.
