Game Review & Impressions
---------------------------------------------------
Multidirectional shoot 'em up from UPL, starring the titular Robo-Kid, a diminutive robot with a killer arsenal of weapons.
The objective is simple: shoot anything that moves, find the exit door to each level and earn a high score in the process.
The game was ported to various home computers and consoles back in the day, with varying degrees of success. I had the Amiga version (see link in related videos), which wasn't a bad effort.
Of course, the original coin-op remains the best version. Fast-paced action, attractive graphics and decent sound make this a fun title.

Played this in the Arcade and on Megadrive Edition liked it.
I remember...the pcb was sold with Combo A.V in 1992.93.

Atomic Robo-Kid was distributed in US arcade by Nikom who might be the original name for American Sammy.
Coming soon: Atomic Robo-Kid Meets Mr. Heli!
That would have been a nice crossover!
This game looks so awesome, i still want to play it on the Amiga. Thanx AL82! 😺👍🕹️
The GENESIS version is very good the graphics are close with a few levels cut out. Also different end boss and ending
I only know the GENESIS version and this is one of those "hey looks like fun I need to play it later on" kinda games and "later on" never comes along 😄
Childhood then adult memories. Never was this good. You could scroll through weapons? Its late. I'm tired.
This game doesnt make sense, one minute your jetting upwards at high speed the next you are in a tight maze
That's coin munchers for you.
Exactly lol.
13:31 Error ~ Not unused; “BGM E 2” is only heard on Act-16.
"Staring" indeed
A game more longer than it seems !
Je vous prendrais bien quelques d’abonné(e)s :-)
The UGLIEST lead video game character of all time! Always hated how he looks. The designers/programmers could've created a better looking character. Real talk.
Honestly, he looks kinda cute
Like E.T
Hes a tin can robot with an elephant trunk. He rules
No way, he looks cool
