I like how when she casts the spell she does this kind of rocking that is characteristic somewhat of Jewish prayer. The only one I've seen do it is Idina (whose chanting also gets a prayer-like rythm as it goes), and a little bit Shoshana (not as rythmically though). *Don't take that as exhaustive research tough hehe I could only watch some videos that were available.
For anyone to say there is a better Elphaba than Idina is insulting to the very character. Idina made way for ALL future Elphaba's, but give respect where it is due. That's not to say that somebody can't play the role incredibly, but at least pay homage to the original
In other words Talia wouldn't be able to play this role the way she plays this role if it wasn't for the path that Idina laid down. Which is why I say Idina menzel is the best, not to say that Talia didn't put on an incredible performance. Taila made it her own, which is what all good actors do
