Sister Jackie! It is so beautiful to "meet you"! This song has meant so much me over the years. I sang it as a part of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. When I left NY andoved to California, I carried this song in my heart; singing it as my husband pastored several churches. And then when the Lord took him home, that song lived in my heart even though, at times, I no longer wanted to live. Now, back on the east coast (although not in NY), I am preparing to sing the lead with the choir at my church (shout out to New Life Church in Laurel, MD). And again, in a different season, newly married after 10 years of widowhood, battling chronic pain that came from a terrible accident at my job, being away from work for two years; unable to see what God has for me, I know that ALL of my help cometh from the Lord. I believe that God (praise Him for algorithms) wanted me to see this now, as I prepare. So thank you for what has been the song of my heart since before a grey hair even thought about my head! I am trusting him to heal me and my voice by Sunday so that the congregation can be blessed by this timeless declaration. You are beautiful. Thank you for your testimony...and I am going to.viy the book. Much Love 🫶🏾🫶🏾
I loved and shared the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir version of this song. I found that video after learning the song while participating in my church choir in the Chicago Loop several years ago. It touched my heart deeply.
Jackie will truly be missed. We grew up together in Inglewood, two doors down from each other, and we had lots of fun. This is a shock, but I know God's got you and the family. Blessings to you all, my family. Love you.
In late 94, I was born into this church, still visit sometimes lol & this song was played every morning in the car and service. Little me used to use my whole body to belt “my help!!!” lol. Probably annoying looking back 😅 Anyways, Now I’m an adult, my body still belts out this song but these days *this song hits different!* When you been thru some thangs, seen some thangs, lost some thangs, cried your fair share of tears and God has STILL seen you through…this tune isn’t just catchy to me but also a SOUL DECLARATION for the Most High🥲Love you BEFIC!! 🕊️✝️
I remember when she first introduced this song...OMG...POWERFUL... ANOINTED!!! SHE TOUCHED AND CHANGE MY LIFE AND MY DAUGHTER'S LIFE!!! NOW.. she's face to face with Jesus!!
Just listen to this song the other Day on my way to work 😢😢 Praising God, Crying lifting my hands ✋ at the Red lights, People thought I was crazy 😂 I am for Jesus
This song came into my life during a "Valley" season. I only knew the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir version. Music lead me to intense worship which played a great, great part in lifting me to where God was taking me in Him at the time in my life. This song was an anchor. It still is. I'm thankful that I was blessed by her words and now, this powerful testimony. Psalm 121 is a Psalm that I repeat every night after my son and I come together for nightly prayer, no matter whether he's traveling or at home May she rest in peace. She left her family and fans such a powerful legacy 🙏🏽.
All praises to the Most High Yah what Jackis is saying is TRUE. And that's why when we pray for health and healing, we can SAY TO OUR BODY TO FUNCTION AS CREATED BEFORE THE FALL . . . Halleluyah! I love and miss you. 💖
I always love this song. I remember when our church choir, we would always sing this song, and the Holy Spirit would always move. She is a woman of many talents. God bless you all she will be truly missed
My all time favorite. I sing it everyday at the end of my morning prayers. We can never forget where who are source is. I can't thank you enough for God did through you.

Yes Jackie. Our guidance of God is within us. That’s one reason for us Christians to be Filled with God, The Holy Spirit and to call on Him for HELP with our life situations.🙏🏽❤️🔥🕊
Was blessed to catch up with you earlier this year. This song will forever be special, it ministers to my heart and the hearts of all people. You're amazing, RIH angel. 🕊😊
I played your song in repeat, unending repeat for years. It was the recording with your being interviewed, an abbreviated interview that immediately rolled into you leading the choir in singing what the Lord placed in your spirit-man in a dream.. Psalm 121. I am so glad that I found you here! ~Psalm 49:16; Psalm 138:8; Psalm 115:14; Luke 1:45, 37; Ephesians 3:20~ God bless you and yours most richly, forever. ❤️
Wow!!!!....I've always admired the beauty of your voice. I've told my daughter abt this lady who was on PTL years ago with a beautiful "high pitched" soprano voice prior to bebe & cece winans coming on the scene. I wondered what happened to you, but it is good to know you're alive, well & writing such beautiful music. We've sung this song many time but didn't know who wrote it. Now I know. God bless you ma'am.
