- Hey guys it’s Robyn! Today I’m sharing the Pumpkins wax war! All the Scentsy pumpkin catalog scents are put to the test!
I am an independent Scentsy consultant from Dawson Creek BC, Canada and have been a lover of all things home fragrance and bath/body for many years. I love connecting with other home fragrance fanatics and sharing thoughts!
All opinions are my honest opinions, and everyone’s nose is different, so what I think may differ from what you think, and that’s what’s so fun about this! I also try to include information like duration and strength of scents whether I personally like them or not, to help you make informed purchasing decisions.

Thaaaaank you for this awesome war!! These are so much fun to watch that I would just want whatever was easier for you so it remains fun on both ends. Its gotta be an even exchange of energy. My personal preference honestly depends on the theme. For example, one long war is fantastic for current catalog bars that have similar scents - as you did with apple and pumpkin. It provides an incredibly comprehensive look at what feels like an overwhelming amount of options available for purchase. Smaller wars are perfect for smaller groups which could even include LTO’s or retired bars since they pop up in flash sales so often. All I can say is I feel like a pumpkin boss after watching this war, so again, thank you! 👊🥳

Fantastic wax war Robyn.
I like all of the scents.
I absolutely adore Autumn Sunset, there is something very special about that bar.
If I want a lighter Autumn Sunset scent, I mix welcome home with pumpkin cinnamon swirl.
My next two favorites are Harvest Blessings and definately Cider Mill.
I have been pairing Cider Mill lately with Bright Cider Life or Orchard Apple and Spice and my home smells amazing.
What I have been doing with Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl or Farmstand Pumpkin is mixing them with either Autumn Road Trip or First Day of Fall and the mixes have been really pleasant.
I agree about Fairytale Pumpkin, I don't get pumpkin, I get tootsie rolls and tootsie pops...😄
As for future wax wars maybe two smaller reviews might be better with the busy holidays approaching but whatever is best for you is fine with me cause I'm here for it all..😊

I appreciate the big head to head wars. That said putting the top 3 against each other would be fun too (maybe a little of both?) the big big wars could be less often because they seem like a lot of work but much appreciated!
I personally love pumpkin chai and feel with a good number of cubes it goes for a while. I club it & use my accumulated bars for the season so the spice sits for a year-ish & the throw is great (I have crazy high ceilings so that says something) Scary good is also up there for me too.

Loved this war - I like all of these bars and was excited to hear the results! Autumn Sunset is a sentimental favourite of mine. I’ve been buying it for years & yes the scent takes me back to my time as a young mom in the late 80’s/early 90’s with all my potpourri & simmer pot & cinnamon wreaths. In fact I’m going in tonight to order my Buttercream bundles & I think I’ll grab a 6 pack of several of these❣️

I think that is why I love Autumn Sunset so much along with Welcome Home.
It was my young mother years with 5 children.
It is a very special scent 💕
It’s totally a nostalgic scent - for me more my childhood, but I love that some scents can take us right back!
@@lesleyphillips8146 I’ve just recently discovered how great Welcome Home smells! Have you ever purchased it in a brick, and if so, do you notice it smelling different or lighter than in bar form?

Autumn Sunset has been a favorite of mine for years. It was one of my first Scentsy bars I bought. I like any type of wax war you want to do.
This was great Robyn! A huge undertaking- thank you! I say a smaller challenge as I can only keep
so many straight at a time anyway. I have been buying Scentsy for years and I think Autumn Sunset has been in the catalog as long as I can remember. I have a bar coming and am really looking forward to it- it’s been awhile. Really appreciate your efforts and report on these!😊💕
Sometimes it’s nice to get back to basics with those oldies but goodies like Autumn Sunset and Clove & Cinnamon!
Thanks, Robyn! I thought this was very insightful. Sometimes I wonder if my experiences with poor/good performance is just me and my nose. I think your findings really line up with my own experiences. I’m waiting for the day when pumpkin cinnamon swirl and pumpkin roll are bangers for days!! LOL
Oh Pumpkin Roll is so good I forgive it for being a one day scent! I love it so much lol! 🎃

What an awesome wax war, Robyn!! I love pumpkin scents (with the exception of the chai version) I am totally okay with smaller wax wars more often😃👍 Thank you for all your hard work putting these together😘
I like the smaller sets so that u can do more types of scent.
Farmstand Pumpkin is a fave of mine but u need extra cubes to really enjoy it,
I agree - I typically use one cube in warmers and even with 3 warmers in the room I tried it in, it was very light - next time I will use 2 cubes in each warmer

Nooooo I'm warming Farmstand Pumpkin right now and I absolutely love it 🤣🤣 I even have windows open with a lot of wind and the scent is still very noticeable. I do agree it's a pleasant scent, crowd pleaser for sure. Ill have to see if i get the rice aspect tomorrow. Great video!
I’m positive my testers weren’t as strong as a normal bar - i recall FP doing much better when I had a bar last year. I’m curious if you ended up getting the rice stage 😅.
@@RobynH I changed my warmers right away to Ravenclaw after work that I don't recall smelling rice before I changed em 🤣
Lovely war although farmstand pumpkin is a club one for me but I get great performance from it, lucky me lol…. I’m good with any wars…. Maybe do smaller and if you want to change it up for a big one, do that on occasion too… either way I enjoy them all. ❤️🙌🏻🥳🎉
I’m convinced something was up with my testers of Farmstand Pumpkin - I had a bar last year and it did much better. I still got the rice note on day 2+ but it wasn’t so light. Everyone loves Farmstand Pumpkin!

Really valuable info, I was debating if I should put a pumpkin scent in my club, because they all tend to seem very light to my nose. But Scary Good looks like it is going in! I couldn’t tolerate Autumn Sunset, so it was out. Lol,
Scary Good is generally a pretty solid performer, at least in my home and from what I’ve heard others say!
I'd like to see fruity Christmas scents...cranberry, berries, plums, orange.

The performance of most bars has been so disappointing lately. What’s going on Scentsy?. People are starting to get very frustrated.
