Taking the time to eat a good meal is such an important aspect of feeling better that so often gets replaced with eating junk for the sake of rest. Investing in that good fuel pays off so well! I’m crying as I watch this and listen to your voice. I didn’t realize how much I needed someone to tell me that it’s okay to not be okay. To watch someone else move slow. My anxiety and depression has spiked and it’s like an itch that won’t be satisfied. This helped my heart find some ease- thank you ❤️
I’ve been feeling like this A LOT lately. All I can do most days is lay in bed and read, watch films, create art etc. Some days are more overwhelming than others. Some days are easy to just pass by but then I end up feeling guilty for not doing anything. Even though self-care should be just as productive as working hard.
Oh how I wish self-care was considered just as productive and important as working hard. Do not feel bad for the days you've spent in bed. Reading, enjoying films, and creating art are all wonderful things. I hope that the days become less painful ❤️
Morgan, sweetie...My Mother used to say, "This too shall pass." She said this when she had stage 4 lung cancer at 92yrs old. She had lung cancer for a year before diagnosis. And managed to survive another 14 months. I bring this up because she had been through a lot in life and yet remained stoic yet hopeful. She said whatever you go through there's always someone worse off. So ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE & make a list of 3 things to accomplish, at a minimum. When I get down sometimes I try to do that. If yr struggling at least get out of bed & if it takes everything you got, get dressed & take a walk. Or get in car and drive to a park. Take a thermos of something hot or cold & phone w book. Set a timer. 1 hr. Then walk & read (not together) but divide time between reading & walking. If you have dogs even better. THEY ALWAYS NEED WALKIES.🐕 The oxygen helps regulate brain chemicals, reduce anxiety, reduce cortisol and helps w sleep. If yr home, weather is bad...etc. Read w ASMR. If you have wifi, YT has some wonderful soundscapes. You can listen to ambient sounds while reading. Last night I chose, "ORIENT EXPRESS DINING CAR NO MUSIC AMBIENCE." They even have cruise ship, or Tokyo cafe, etc. Hogwarts...So nice to pretend to be somewhere else while reading. Or not reading. YT has great travel channels. Also you can do 4K walks around the world...they really help to alleviate stress & anxiety. Blessings 🙏
I will listen to the Orient Express dining car- video today, what a great suggestion! Gratefulness and walks in nature are the key. Where I live we have a law to make sure the well-being of dogs that says you must walk the dogs everyday day. I often think that this law is for the well-being of humans, too.
Be well my friend, you might be on the verge of a breakthrough in your work. Changes on the horizon, let your self rest and meditate in what ever way. Be still with your self and listen to that voice within. I myself have been going through heavy changes, I think the world is also. You have many friends !

Hola Morgan!!! When I get overwhelmed, I will meditate. First, I will take a couple of long, deep breaths and proceed to meditate. I will then weight train, do a run, then finish up with yoga. You will be amazed at how you feel invigorated and refreshed. At night, I will either watch Netflix or read a book with my 200 candles and my aroma diffusers working to give a nice ambiance...lol. Morgan, you have the right idea of preparing to relax so that you can unwind. Your nature walks are also helpful. I think of you as family. We could just elicit our positive energy to all of us. Saved this video for a rainy day. Yesterday my husband lost his godfather. His mom and brother found him and tried to do CPR but it was too late. We just went to a funeral less than 2 weeks ago. I feel like my brain is fogged over in sadness. This helped. Thank you ❤️

As someone who has been there (and never had the ending I was hoping for, it's a looooong story), it is something a lot of people struggle with but we somehow hardly ever speak about. I truly hope things work out for you. But if they don't, I hope you can be kind to yourself and your partner and mourn the future you had once dreamed about and are able to make a future for yourself that brings you happiness

This is a very important video to watch, as it holds a very important message. I think what people don't realize is that sometimes when you're in a slump, when you aren't feeling great, or whenever you're unmotivated; it's okay to slack off. It's okay to take a self care day or even week to take care of your mental health. Forcing yourself to work or be productive will not end well, it might work for the 1% but I can guarantee that letting yourself relax and do what *you* want to do is extremely important because you're indirectly taking care of your mental health and eventually you'll be your motivated and productive self again. I used to (not literally) beat myself up for being unproductive but I know how much hustle culture has affected my life and I used to feel like if I wasn't productive that day, then I didn't deserve to sleep, like sleep was earned not needed. Thankfully I've partially grown out of that and I think that more people need to understand that their mental health should be prioritized, despite having responsibilities.

This is a very important video to watch, as it holds a very important message. I think what people don't realize is that sometimes when you're in a slump, when you aren't feeling great, or whenever you're unmotivated; it's okay to slack off. It's okay to take a self care day or even week to take care of your mental health. Forcing yourself to work or be productive will not end well, it might work for the 1% but I can guarantee that letting yourself relax and do what *you* want to do is extremely important because you're indirectly taking care of your mental health and eventually you'll be your motivated and productive self again. I used to (not literally) beat myself up for being unproductive but I know how much hustle culture has affected my life and I used to feel like if I wasn't productive that day, then I didn't deserve to sleep, like sleep was earned not needed. Thankfully I've partially grown out of that and I think that more people need to understand that their mental health should be prioritized, despite having responsibilities.
