Amazing video! I am glad you bring such topics. We do miss the iconic villains from the 90’s. These days main lead actors like to play the villain themselves. The trend started with Shah Rukh Khan but he has always played a good villain 😋 I have always been scared of the villains in the movies. But I always admired Syed Rehman Khan known as ‘Rehman’ who was a stylish villain from the 50s and 60s.
As for the 90’s, most villains were really scary 😂 But I think I remember 4 villain roles that stood out for me.
1. Sayaji Shinde from movie Shool(1999). He played a rotten corrupt politician Bachchoo Yadav who really angered me. It’s also one of my favourite cop movies, so I remember that performance.
2. Ashish Vidhyarthi from Bichchoo, although a 2000 film but he really played that role well, even though I absolutely loved Gary Oldman in the original movie Leon(1994)
3. Nana Patekar in Agni Sakshi(1996) was also good even though it was also “inspired” from ‘sleeping with the enemy’.
4. Ashutosh Rana as Gokul Pandit in Dushman(1998). I don’t know if I can call Ashutosh an underrated villain as he won an award for that movie, but the fact that the movie bombed at the box office despite good performances and music really baffled me. His performance in Sangharsh is talked about much more than his acting in Dushman. As a teenager back then, his performance in this movie gave me chills. And even now I get goosebumps when I watch a clip from that film. He is such wonderful human being and very spiritual in real life but in Dushman movie you could see the creepiness in his eyes. He is the most under-utilised villain in Bollywood.
Thanks for the great comment!
Thank u very much for mentioning me before starting the video........ I'm very much delighted jamie bhai....
I mentioned you several times during the video and at the end:)
@JamieAlterIndian yeah.... I did notice it..
Actually I was so thrilled to hear my name that I stopped watching the video and texted right away.

@@qwerty2020100 Thank u
Jamie bhai welcome back.. Apke video beech me n aaye to thoda miss kar raha tha.. Bhai 90s k singers composers film album and songs k competition ke around koi video banaiye plz..
Danny ji in "Hum", Raza Murad.
Brilliant Content Jamie bhai as usual. 💯 We had villains who we could remember. Raiv Rai is master at it TRIDEV, MOHRA, VISHWATMA ,GUPT, are ultimate classics. Amrish Puri is legend. The world that Rajiv Rai used to create and Viju Shah's music & Score was highlight. Danny Dangzongpa as Kaancha Cheena in Mukul S Anand's Agneepath, Balwant Rai from Rajkumar Santoshi's Ghayal, Dr Dang ( Anupam Kher) from Subhash Ghai's KARMA, Amrish Puri as General Dong from Anil Sharma's Tahalka who ken forget the iconic intro song Shom Shom by Amrish Puri and iconic line Dong Kabhi Wrong Nahi Hota and many more. We need bring proper Villains back 👌🏼🤘🏻🎬🎞🎥💯
Jamie Brother may God bless you 🙏
You forgot to mention Ashutosh Rana. As a child growing up in the late 90s, his characters and that blood-curdling scream in Sangharsh were extremely scary. His portrayal of Lajja Shankar Pandey still haunts me, his sheer intensity and those piercing eyes made him unforgettable. And let's not forget Gokul Pandit from Dushman! The way he brought such raw, menacing energy to that role was truly terrifying. Rana's performances didn't just scare; they left a lasting impact, making him one of the most iconic villains of that era. It was a great video nonetheless.
Rami Reddy also Did great Villainous roles in Many Mithun Chakraborty films like Chandaal (1998), Shera (1999), Kalia (1997) ( also starring Mukesh Rishi in negative role) etc. Shapath (1997) was his only Hindi Film in which he did positive role
Yes.
Old is gold , pahle movie bana karti thi , I realy miss 90s 😊
underrated vilains:-
Raghuvaran in 'Rakshak':- extremely well writtened character.
Mukesh Tiwari in 'Chinagate'. What a performance. terrific but didn't get attention as film became flop.
Amrish Puri character in 'Divyashakti' was his best character among 90's characters but It garnered less attention. Today no one talk about this character. No one remember his character of 'Tau'.
Mukesh rishi❤❤
Your daddy was also an underrated villain 😊
I am a Sunil Shetty fan since my childhood and I have seen Balwaan many times and I really love Danny 's Acting performance.
Salim Ghouse from Vetri Vizha.
Not seen that one, but Salim sir was too good in whatever I saw him in.
@@JamieAlterIndianHe acted in koyla. He played the role of the cruel and lusty brijwa , younger brother of raja sahab (played by Amrish puri)
Yes, I am aware. He was a family friend. I knew him since I was a child. Just did not see Vetri Vizha.
Ashish Vidyarthi in Bichhoo
Salim Ghouse in Soldier
Sharat saxena in Ghulam
@@ADDH-zr1kw I had mentioned it
@Raj-zj8dk thank you bro 🙏 😊
आपको देखते हैं अचानक से टॉम अल्टर साहब याद आ गए😊😊
Jamie... I feel jack goud too was very underrated villan... Powerful personality.. In Karan arjun, vaastav tahalka, looteree, veergati, beta nd many mithunda movies... He just nailed his roles with conviction... I guess his name too needs to be mentioned... The late jack goud... Cheers jamie 👏👌🙌👍
Rami Reddy in Krodh...Munna Tension Deneka Leneka nahi. I still remember this dialogue 😅
I remember Tom Alter
Rajiv Rai is also among my favourite Hindi movie directors.
mahesh anand, jack gaud , gurubachan, shiva , mahavir shah , tinu anand , manik irani , etc
Countless ...
Nice research Jamie bhai 👍
Thank you
Missing proper villains in the movies now a days
You Missed Inder Saxena from the movie Ziddi (1996) played by Ashish Vidyarthi and Parshuram from the movie Muqaddar (1996) played by Punit Issar and Pralaynath Gundaswamy from the movie Tiranga (1993) played by Deepak Shirke.
No, I didn't miss any. If you read the video headline, it specifies the number 'five' not '10, 12, 15' such villains.
@@JamieAlterIndian Ok but make a part 2 of the video and you can mention them as well.
Namaste Jamie bhai 🙏🏼
Namaste
Mohan Agashe did very well in the movie but the film was a flop . This actually happened due to Subash Ghai released the movie in wrong time. Subash Ghai actually wanted Trimurti to be flop because he wanted to avoid taxes. He also did similar kind of practice in Yaadein.
Rami Reddy- acting karne ki koshish bhi nahin Karta tha, 0% expression and no voice modulation, aisa lagta tha ki teleprompter se dialogue par raha hai.
Lekin spot Nana, col chikara Jaise character bahut memorable hai more funny rather than scary. Miss Rami Reddy a great deal.
Agree with you Mohra was about the interesting villain characters, also Paresh Rawal and Sadashiv amrapurkar played their parts very well and Nasir Sahab performance as usual was brilliant
Rami Reddy was creepy!
@JamieAlterIndian you could have also included Rajesh Vivek, who played daku and sadhu roles all his life, he did a great job in kachche dhaage,
"AA Gaya bagula Bhakta"was his famous line in that film.
May be saiya ji Shinde as well, for his role of bacchu Yadav in shool
As the video headline says, this one was about 'five' such villains. Had it said a dozen, I would have included many more.
Mohra is inspired from a Hollywood movie Death Wish 4 The Crackdown (1987) like you Mentioned in your Mohra Video and Hong Kong movie Hard Boiled (1992). I am a Charles Bronson fan.
Mahesh Anand one of the most underrated villain with a Greek god type of physique mostly played henchman to the main villain
Yes, he did some memorable roles.
Manik Irani also got famous as a Villain from the Jacky Shroff debut film Hero. In that film Manik Irani's name was Billa & since then he was known as Billa...
Yes
Actually Balwaan did very well at the box office and was declared a hit.
Don't go by Wikipedia :)
@@JamieAlterIndian I don't go by the wikipedia but it did very well especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 centres in India and also in my area of Jammu Punjab circuit that's why I am saying that Jamie Bhai.

That one is under-rated? It was an award-winning role.
Jamie make video on Tom sirs experience while making movie Gumrah
Made this two years ago: th-cam.com/video/ZSyOsvWBuaQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jE68-kApcj3gccDg
Tom alter was English villain in bollywood
Sometimes, yes.
These villians acting were better than heros
Those days are long gone, sadly.
Jamie bhai aap deepak shirke, Ishrat ali, Mohan Joshi, brij Gopal, ke bare may bhul gae.
Kisne bola bhool gaya?🤣 Ek baar video title pad lete ... 5 villains likha hai, 10 nahin!
😂😂ok sorry jamie bhai my bad lagta hai mujhe indian team ki haar ka sadma zyada laga hua hai 😂😂😂
Shayad.
Bhai maine inme se koi bhi movie nahi dekhi 😛 action, masala, vulgarity... Yahi sab zyada tha early 90s ki movies mein, shayad isliye hamaare ghar mein nayi movies par ban tha... Humko 60s, 70s,80s ki movies zyada dikhate the hamare parents... Aur Doordarshan bhi😅
Late 90s mein thoda breathing space mila... Mujhe Kaatiya, Baap ji, Jindaal, Chaddha type hi characters yaad hain...
Nasiruddin Shah's character was really cringe in Mohra...
Bhai, har dashak mein vahiyaat filmein banti thi🤣
80s se vahiyat koi dashak nahin tha, Hindi cinema mein.
@JamieAlterIndian I meant to say that as we siblings were growing up, our parents tried to keep us away from such stuff 😄
How is your health now?
Much better, as you can see in the video, all the weight is back :)
भैया जी , आपके वीडियो पर इतने कम view क्यों आते हैं 😢😢
क्या पता? किसको फरक पद रहा है? विडियो एन्जॉय करो बस
Chikaara 😂😂
