This is the best feel of the 70s I've ever seen on a song. To nail the entire vibe so well is so crazy. Music with this kind of sound has not been made in 41 years. It's as if the 70s ended and just before the 80s started Bruno said ....... no ......... I'm gonna leave the door open so that the 70s continue through me. LOL. Being a musician, I'm addicted to this song. I've never heard a song on repeat as much as I have this one and it's a surprise for me. I've been spending the last few days just watching reaction videos to this song, mostly by producers, rappers, vocal coaches, music critics etc. and have been fan-boying over everything they have to say! Key-changes? YES. The jazz chords. YES. Great use of Falsetto in back-up vocals? YES. Bruno's belting? YES. Dry sounding drums? YES. The influence of the legendary Bootsy Collins on this track is unmistakable and cannot, should not go unnoticed. Then, I see this video of two girls watching the video for the first time and reacting to it. None of the above is mentioned. Pretty sure they're not educated in music. They're the average listener. They're just vibing. I actually missed hearing some intelligent commentary on the music. But that's the beauty of this song.
