There are some people with a distinct voice, and Michelle is one of those amazing artists. I love love love her voice and tone. Kandi Buruss, Mary J. Blige, T Boz, Erykah Badu, it's so many more but I just love them❤❤
Kelly can SANG! There is such a beautiful clarity to her voice. And LETOYA! I have always loved her in the group. She’s such a beautiful girl. Her adult, more mature voice was such a nice surprise. And as a low voiced woman, I too love LaTavia’s tenor. ☺️

Michelle voice is unique, special, flexible and sooooo gorgeous. Letoya voice is sooooo pretty. Latavia voice is chesty and has the potential to be so dope. Kelly has a nice tone.
LeToya’s voice really relaxes me. It’s kinda like candles around a tub. LaTavia’s raspy voice gives bass. It “completes” the quartet. Michelle’s voice is animated. She versatile. She could sing Disney, or gospel in the same tone. Kelly’s voice is straight from the soul. I hear a lil “pop” like Whitney Houston, a lil “fun” like Donna Summer, and “clear” like Gladys Knight. These girls can sang!💯💯💯
That’s simply not true. Beyoncé did a lot of the backgrounds as well as leads and people try attribute some of them to LeToya to make it seem she was the backbone or something.

Beyonce sings about 70% of all DC's catalogue. Also they are not credited on all the songs as producers. In their first and second album, only Beyonce had producer credits
They are so nice acapella. I could hear the music with each song they played. It was nice to hear Kelly sing keep it between us. Their mature voices are 🔥🔥
LeToya’s solo catalog is amazing. So is Michelle gospel and Kelly’s - Simply Deep and Ms. Kelly had so many great moments. It was also good to see Latavia. I’m also a deep voiced girl.

And she also did it with the song Unity which actually did play on country radio in some areas back in the day. Fans have said this for years. Her ballads are LOVE!

I need Michelle to release a jazz.....songs (since she doesn't want a full album). I would love to hear LeToya and Michelle together. Two sopranos who reach great heights seemingly with ease, but two different voices and singing styles. "You got me SOO torn!" "I found it in Go-oo-oo-OO-OOOOD!" (Gotta see original video) To me: Beyonce = trumpet Kelly = amplified clarinet/flute LeToya = oboe Michelle = violin LaTavia = cello (singing may not have always been her thing but she held down that low note in their harmonies so well)

For those who want to hear more of Latavia's low register, there's a song from a special edition of "The Writing's On The Wall" called Can't Help Myself (it's here on TH-cam ). Latavia sings the first verse. She also sings the first verse in Sweet Sixteen (also from The Writing's On The Wall). Her voice reminds me a lot of T-boz from TLC.

This whole week was so great. I’m so happy he did this. It’s amazing. They all have their own unique talents and it just meshed back in the day. I recorded them on vhs too. Me and the cousins would do the dances and sing. So many good memories 😊
I watched all four videos yesterday. They were great!! They all had amazing stories (Latavia should 100% write her story, bless her). I loved actually hearing LeToya’s voice solo in these Destiny’s Child songs. Loved hearing Kelly’s naturally warm voice. Unfortunately, I’ve never been able to warm to Michelle. All of these ladies are so talented and I enjoy all of their voices. Michelle Williams has such a lovely tone and texture to her voice. I feel her voice was not appreciated the way it should have been when she joined Destiny's Child back in the day. I would love to see all of these ladies perform together. They all deliver.

We praise Beyoncé because she makes brilliant choices that are more acrobatic and showy. But what makes Kelly and LeToya amazing VOCALISTS is their acrobatics and TECHNIQUE are often very subtle & seamless like vocalists back in the day (i.e. Dionne Warwick and Donna Summer). That takes serious skill.
So true it's so easy to belt out something but the control and technique it takes to sing strong and beautifully in lower acrobatic ways is another monster!

No one said Beyonce could not sing lower and control it. The point the person was making and that I second is that Bey is more likely to be the one you hear belting out screaming powerhouse vocals where as the other mentioned ladies who are also powerhouse vocalist are more likely to sing in a more lower sultry subtle tone and controled technique. I've always loved how warm, dexterous and powerful Kelly's voice is. LaToya surprised me because I rarely ever hear her live but she sounds like she just stepped out the studio #ready. La Tavia had the most unique voice in the group and her harmonies were missed. Someone said she was to DC what Melvin Franklin was to the Temptations and I kinda agree!

To me:
Beyonce = trumpet
Kelly = amplified clarinet/flute
LeToya = oboe
Michelle = violin
LaTavia = cello (singing may not have always been her thing but she held down that low note in their harmonies so well)

For those who want to hear more of Latavia's low register, there's a song from a special edition of "The Writing's On The Wall" called Can't Help Myself (it's here on TH-cam ). Latavia sings the first verse. She also sings the first verse in Sweet Sixteen (also from The Writing's On The Wall). Her voice reminds me a lot of T-boz from TLC.
Can't Help Myself is perhaps the only song, if I'm not mistaken, where each of them sings separately and you can hear their voices distinctly.

This whole week was so great. I’m so happy he did this. It’s amazing. They all have their own unique talents and it just meshed back in the day. I recorded them on vhs too. Me and the cousins would do the dances and sing. So many good memories 😊
I watched all four videos yesterday. They were great!! They all had amazing stories (Latavia should 100% write her story, bless her). I loved actually hearing LeToya’s voice solo in these Destiny’s Child songs. Loved hearing Kelly’s naturally warm voice. Unfortunately, I’ve never been able to warm to Michelle.

All of these ladies are so talented and I enjoy all of their voices. Michelle Williams has such a lovely tone and texture to her voice. I feel her voice was not appreciated the way it should have been when she joined Destiny's Child back in the day. I would love to see all of these ladies perform together. They all deliver.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with liking a specific member. I think the issue is that a lot of people ONLY prefer other members, because they want to have a reason to discredit Beyoncé, which is super weird. The preference isn’t genuine.

I remember the first time I saw Michelle in the Say My Name premiere after school on TRL. I was curious about her instantly and fell in love. And her first solo album in 2002 helped get me through high school

Latoya and Kelly are my favorite voices (always have been now that I think about it). Latavia has been through so much and it changed her voice but I think I would love to hear it developed because I think she would bring SOUL to that low register!

We praise Beyoncé because she makes brilliant choices that are more acrobatic and showy. But what makes Kelly and LeToya amazing VOCALISTS is their acrobatics and TECHNIQUE are often very subtle & seamless like vocalists back in the day (i.e. Dionne Warwick and Donna Summer). That takes serious skill.
So true it's so easy to belt out something but the control and technique it takes to sing strong and beautifully in lower acrobatic ways is another monster!

The point the person was making and that I second is that Bey is more likely to be the one you hear belting out screaming powerhouse vocals where as the other mentioned ladies who are also powerhouse vocalist are more likely to sing in a more lower sultry subtle tone and controled technique.

I've always loved how warm, dexterous and powerful Kelly's voice is. LaToya surprised me because I rarely ever hear her live but she sounds like she just stepped out the studio #ready. La Tavia had the most unique voice in the group and her harmonies were missed. Someone said she was to DC what Melvin Franklin was to the Temptations and I kinda agree!
