This is probably one of the most polished and complete tower mod I've seen yet. Big kudos to the creator! Hopefully more mods like these appear in the future.
I agree but that might be a little confusing and overwhelming for newer players or people who don’t know BTD terms like “pierce”, “D.O.T”, “A.O.E”, etc.
@@PassiveClapz you can't expect someone to learn all the terminology of a game as soon as they get into it. That would result in people just dropping the game when they don't understand things. If you're into the game enough that you wanna know exactly what every upgrade does, you can check the wiki
I liked how this mod used the boomerang as a base for the robot sprites. I have an idea - they should add some sort of bionic enhancement upgrade to make the boomerang shoot faster. That would be cool, I think.
I love this mod: One crosspath is just raw damage for when you need. Probably will only use in boss event because it is so expensive Another cross path is a cheap alternative but less damage, great pierce and grouped balloon damage. Would be affordable in chimps And the other path is all support which will help maximize the buffs of your other robot monkeys to the max but also has that tint of Moab damage to use as an alternative I love it
If this was implemented then it would be amazing against bosses as not only does it deal great damage itself, but the ability to remove lives without leaking Bloons would be immensely helpful when using druids.
Awesome video. I'd love to see a second episode of it. Seeing how that attack speed buff works with things like Tack Zone, Permacharge, Temples/VTSG etc.
I think for chimps they would have to implement some secondary currency for it, like a second life meter that only works for life loss abilities. Ezili would finally have another ability for chimps. Maybe the tower that use it could give some immediate currency and an upgrade to create more? Scatter some currency generation amongst other upgrades too. The currency could b used in other modes to prevent life loss from the abilities.. that’s a pretty big new mechanic for just two towers though lol
I feel like if this tower were to be implemented, and the life draining concept not removed for the sake of chimps mode, there's a funny little solution that may need some tweaks... Shadow lives! Think lives that don't count as lives in any way shape or form EXCEPT for towers that need life upkeep, like Ezili's totem so that she can have a niche in chimps. It would be completely ridiculous atm, since you're asking for a life crate heli just to get those 2 towers working at all (and I guess making bomb blitz hilarious), but that's solved by the life farm existing. I feel this would be a neat way to implement something like this into Chimps, and it opens the door to a lot of new possibilities in tower design.

Not gonna lie, I think it was pretty lazy to not restart when you realized you capped lives at 100. The whole point of the mod was to farm lives and balance them w/ the towers.
Honestly, while a tower that requires you to power it is a cool idea, locking the ability for it to do *anything* behind having to use some kind of cooldown all but mandates the use of techbots and/or macros, just to keep the tower active, which kinda feels like it goes against BTD6's overall design. I feel like the idea would overall work better if 1. The tower turned into an overpriced 000 dart monkey while not powered so it isn't useless if/when you can't afford to power it and 2. It could be passively powered without techbots. Make it cost a little bit of money at the start of each round to work, or require you to give it some form of buff from another tower to get it going. Either way, it can then work on CHIMPS and it doesn't require you to spam an ability to allow it to do any damage at all.
@@colossaldonut5190 You don’t use farms in CHIMPS either. Anyways, CHIMPS is one of the many game modes in this game and NK has made it clear they don’t solely optimise their towers for CHIMPS.
i guess the robotic revenge the top path is kind of like a mad does insane damage to moabs but instead of doing no damage to cerams it just doesn't have the pierce so technically it is better than the bottom path but just takes more lives and is a lot more expensive
What about reusing the cobra as a mercenary who charges you x amount (depending on upgrades) per round to pop Bloons better tower more money per round with one path making him cheaper probably by a percentage if he’s really expensive and some upgrades could include a suppressor for camo detection, and I think dual guns as a 4th or 3rd tier followed by an automatic gun as a 5th tier
I feel like this is the third best-made mod out there, with ultimate crosspathing being in 2nd and SC2Expansion being nr 1 bc its the only mod where the dev could be bothered to make custom 3D models and animations
If they make btd7 its interesting to see what they come up with since some things you probably wouldn't think of like druid. so maybe basic concepts wont be in btd7

it really does feel like this tower is made literally only to not work on chimps, would be much cooler if the habilites costed money to activate instead of lives
It'd be cool if Ezili's totem in CHIMPS didn't drain lives but instead made all towers under the effect make 75% less money until you get the next totem upgrade where you then make 50% less
A challenge where you start with 1 life and a max of 100 lives but the only available option to beat the last round is a 5-0-2 of this thing so you had to farm money and lives for it efficiently all game would be sick.
I think they should be slightly buffed considering their price and sacrifice req, the top path costs more then a ray of doom and requires heart sacrifices and it can’t solo round 107
This might have more potential if they made it so if the robot takes more lives than you have, it will instead draw from your money (multiplied by some number) so it would have a use in CHIMPS but still have a disadvantage

I love the concept of having to constantly sacrifice lives to buff the tower, but personally I think this would work better as a hero concept than a tower…
I think if you were going to give a tower some ability or cost to use lives i think it would make more sense to give it to a support tower similar to Ezili`s totem, make it something you can use when you need it to boost towers or cripple bloons instead of being an attacking tower needing constant upkeep. Also making the upkeep so high that you need other towers to pump your lives back up seems questionable, imagine being able to get towers to get hundreds of lives each round

You need to know that most players are casuals and they couldn’t care less about the exact stats of each tower. Just use the popology tbh.

I think the hexa/deca shot it most worth it if you have a limited amount of lives, because it uses the same amount of lives but you get more damage.

If you used the Druid, life farm, normal farm and robo monkey you could create a really OP build
