@@bikedad7432 I bought a suspension post for 12€ at a home improvement store some 10 odd years ago. I think now they'll charge 20€. It's not very well made. There's been stiction in the post mechanism, but i took off the top and flooded it with a nicer oil and i think that might have made it a little less bad. However now the rubber boot dust protector is shot, it tore apart. I will need to come up with something. Maybe i buy some TPU and 3D print a replacement. Or maybe i 3D print a mould in PETG and cast one from silcone. IDK. Dust ingress certainly can't be good for it. Maybe i'll sew a protector.
We used to have seats with massive springs in the back.
Then they took that away from us and now we must buy overpriced suspension posts huh.
@SianaGearz I remember those seats. This suspension post was $32. Pretty cheap. I saw some suspension posts as high as $200!
