Health yes but not as much as dal roti, all the oil causes cough and lung issue. I wouldn't bother to write here but my son had inherent asthma, it was difficult and cautious times and don't want any child to suffer.
@@trinitylopez1531 , I feel sorry for your son's asthma problem. Special problem like your son's requires more attention to what to eat and what not eat, other than that having fried food once in a while besides HEALTHY EATING ON A DAILY BASE and having fried food in MODERATE PORTION is not that bad.

Unfortunately when I made this video, I did not measured the ingredients but I took 1 corning ware/18 ounce bowlful yellow moong dal, (roughly 1 to 1 1/2 cup yellow moong dal) and rest of the ingredients you can add more or less as per your taste. I think cooking techniques are more important then recipe itself, no doubt good recipe makes good food but techniques are also very important while cooking food, like combining right ingredients in right amount and cooking them for right amount of time at right setting of the flame etc.
Repeatedly reusing of oil, decreases the oil quality, by creating more SATURATED FATS (bad fat) along with less proportion of UNSATURATED FATS.
When heated repeatedly, changes in physical appearance of the oil will occur such as increased viscosity and darkening in color, which may alter the fatty acid composition of the oil. Heating causes the oil to undergo a series of chemical reactions like oxidation, hydrolysis and polymerization. By the way I am a Pharmacist that’s why I know this topic in depth.
Personally I discard oil after two use/frying.
