This video wins! I removed the back trying to find the drain pump filter. Why would Whirlpool have the filter facing forward and not provide easy access to it? This was super easy to follow, no steps left out. Also, don't be fooled, the boot seal retainer needed MORE than a little effort to put back on. Actually, it's possible that I'm just wimpy.
Couldn't agree with you more about the value of this video. I needed it for the same reason - washer wasn't draining efficiently. got the filter out and found it almost completely blocked with lint, thread, hair and coins. On the boot seal retainer reinstallation: Me too. Not having an assistant nearby, I ended up using a bit of duct tape to hold the retainer in place at the top of the boot, and then two pairs of needle nose pliers, one for each end of the spring, to put it in place.
I can’t get the front panel to detach. I have a WFW9750WW01… is that panel connected by screws on the right side? Seems like a difficult task reaching those screws.
At the bass of the drum there is a rubber boot that is attached to a plastic adaptor that attaches to a narrow hose that is connected to the water limit switch. What is the name of the boot and fitting?
Excellent, thank you very much for this video. I'm learning how to fix washing machines and microwaves. I really enjoyed finding your company. I'm from Portugal, do you supply material to Portugal? I am looking for the electrical diagram of a Whirlpool AWO/D 8411 machine. The electrical module is L1799, could you please send it to me? I will pay the cost if necessary. Once again congratulations on the video and much success for your company. Compliments
Mi lavadora es igualita a esta del video no enciende está cómo muerta debería de poner video de que es lo que tiene si no enciende así es la mía no enciende
I just cleaned my drain on my duet using this video guide - it matched well. i didn't tip it all the way on its back just tipped it enough to remove panel underneath and get to drain.
@@Hildepedia I don't remember a 'filter' but maybe a screen or something yes - the sock I found was trapped up against something that keeps stuff that is to big from going into the drain hose. You wouldn't need a true filter on drain water. I didn't look at anything related to the supply water and that comes in from the back I think not the bottom.

Are there bearing repair kits for the Alpha platform washers?

"This may require some effort" in a how-to video ALWAYS means "this is a fucking pain in the dick"
