    I've got a 96 4.9, your valve cover gasket video saved my life. I bought 2 sets of seats from a 2013 f150 and was going to put them in. Got the old bench seat out and put the new bucket seats in with the fold up center console. They fit in perfect but they were just too damn deep. I would've had to ride on the steering wheel pretty.much if I kept them. I got a 95 4 door 4x4 350 w/351 Windsor and thought about using those seats but that truck is my childhood dream truck and I can't bring myself to swap them

    Great Video! It helps to connect some dots for me. I recently found out the seat pan for the 92-97 standard cab is a direct fit to a 80-86 Bullnose. I have found a perfect donor and I'm grabbing the headliner to. Thank you!

    Will a extended cab floor seat pan *the thing you went back to get* fit onto a regular cab? I want to removed my bench seats on my 97 f250 and already have seats off an extended cab but they did not come with the bottom pan that they mount to

    • @SteveStoltz

    Does anyone know where I can find a new sliding and folding little doors on the jump seat? Can’t find them online anywhere and want to find them new. Unless they’re not being reproduced by any company just gonna have to find some in a junkyard.

    So what did you end up doing for the center seat? Just swap out the bottom bracket ? Seen in your video you took it apart but didn’t show or say how you ended up making it work. I have the same issue right now.

    How did you remove the center console cupholder/top?

    • @SteveStoltz
      @SteveStoltz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are a number of plastic clips around the edge, many of which will likely break when attempting removal due to age. Mine is a little loose because of this, I plan on using a couple of strategically screws to tighten it down, I just haven’t done it yet.

  • @shusterandy
    @shusterandy 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Man I fairly recently bought a 1994 Ford f150. Low miles and in very good condition for it's age. And a good deal so couldn't pass on it. And it is an over all nice truck, I saw it had bucket seats so I thought it wouldn't be a problem. Because I'm not crazy about bench seats either. But the problem is that they are the bucket seats with the lumbar support and I really don't like them. You have that lower part digging into your back and I hate it. It's uncomfortable. Some people may like it, but I don't. I'm almost thinking about swapping with these kind of seats because they do looks more comfortable. Didn't think I'd have to but I may. I watched this video to get an idea. And yeah these ones have lumbar support, but they don't look like they stick out as much.

    • @SteveStoltz
      @SteveStoltz  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't notice the lumbar support at all when the are deflated, I have one side that works and one that doesn't.

    • @shusterandy
      @shusterandy 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@SteveStoltz yeah that's what it looks like with those types of seats I have a different type of bucket seats. I notice I just don't like the way they over all feel for some reason.

    • @SteveStoltz
      @SteveStoltz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! The sub works pretty well, the most difficult thing is trying to fine tune it from the drivers seat. I think if I were buy one new I would get something that is more of a wedge style box, for the ease of fitting it in place.

    What year truck did you get the seat from and was is regular or extended cab

    • @SteveStoltz
      @SteveStoltz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The seats came from an extended cab, that’s what made it such a pain converting everything over to work in a standard cab.

    Steve, not sure if you just returned the favor on subbing to my channel or if you somehow found one of my videos. Wanted to say thanks though, your ECM video helped me get my ‘93 lightning started after buying it from the previous owner who let it sit DOA for a long time (minimal 10+ months). They didn’t know what was wrong and gave up. Also I used you upper/lower/exhaust manifold video as a helpful guide along with my chilton manual on my current ‘92 blown head gasket repair series. I really enjoy your OBS content, thanks again for posting some great content.
