There were moments during Laurent Garnier's set when it was hard to find someone who didn't have their hands thrust skywards, which is exactly what you'd expect when a hometown hero is nailing a headline set.

OMG, now this is what I call a techno (/house) mix! A true legend and master at the controls. Loved Garnier's music ever since I heard "crispy bacon" years ago. The beginning of this mix blew me away and I'm only 15 mins into listening to this mix and already know the rest will be just as great! Wish I could have been there for this performance! Will definitely need a full tracklist for this set if anyone can ID any gaps.

Outstanding Masterpiece
The first transition is over two minutes long. One of the last living legends here who knows what a real rave is, because he DJed at some of the first raves ever.

Robert De La Gauthier maceo just wrote a couple of weeks ago that "solar detroit" is a tribute to acid eiffel .:)
ha ha, i spook it, the intro...but acid eiffel is unique, but nice tribute :) I really love maceo plex a lot!
I was there, the Maceo's track was a unrealed at this time (never heard it before myself), it was in Paris (Laurent Garnier is at home here), I heard this, it's instantly remind me of Acid Eiffel, you see the mood change and people get in the mix in the minute, it was a pretty magic moment :)
