Tbh really not much difference between iPhone 14 and 15, a phone is a phone at the end of the day, how fast can a phone go? At most few milliseconds faster to load the webpage/game and you’re still gonna access it. If you’re on a budget then 14 and if you got loads of cash to spare then why not a 15?
Got an iPhone 14 (128gb) new, and the difference in price was £145 from the 15 model. So far, very happy with 14 which I think it suits my needs the best. People say to get the 13 instead but 13 is mostly available renewed these days and not new.
If you're gonna spend the money anyway, the 15 is a no brainer. It'll last longer with more iOS updates, a better main camera, and a future proofing USB-C port.
Why go for the iPhone? Androids can give you better performance than this one. Like upcoming S24 will feature Qualcomm's overclocked SD 8Gen3 which will compete against A17 Pro and definitely be faster than A16 Bionic. People must widen their eyes or apple might scam them for years.

Also in my PERSONAL OPINION the UI on android is more confusing, more laggy, and overall way too much compared to iphone's simple UI. The notch is better than the pill hole in my opinion. Thankfully I don’t use my phone for everything like a-lot of people do. I have a 14Pro so its really hard to even think that for $800 your getting basically a lesser version of the 14Pro giving you a 60HZ screen, less camera options, less features. The only thing it has is ubsc going for it. Apple wonders why the 14 series bombed so hard, its cause there iphone 13 S models with SOS. Then you move to where its alot better and feels more in line with the pro models from the previous generation. So you have an iphone 15 that is a lesser version of the 14pro. So its hard to even want to upgrade. Yes USBC is and I have 1 products using lightening & need 2 cords. During this transition phase. But I wont be upgrading my 14Pro until there is actual improvements again. The 15s did not need to be called 15s at all. They need to lower there price and bring back S years if they want people to upgrade their phones. I noticed on my sisters 14plus the battery health is at 96% health with eco charge and optimized charging on. After 3 months. In a year with that math. The Iphone 14Plus will need a battery replacement. So seeing that irritates me. Cause It wont go to apple for a battery replacement. Thats fer sure. Apple has alot of issues im noticing that are piling up.
Don't ever think ever buying 14, even if you can shave $100 from by opting it over 15. The reason is simple: You can save $200 by getting 13, $100 from 14. The 14 is basically just iPhone 13 second generation, you won't miss that much by getting 13 over 14, but you do by getting 14 over 15. So if you don't mind about money, get 15 (it's $100 worth more than 14). But if money is your concern, just get 13. NEVER EVER buy "14"

I’d love it if my husband and kids would go to Android Samsung, anything but IPhone. They’re all dead set on IPhone only. I had a Samsung years ago and it took a beating. Dropped it many many times carrying two babies around and having a toddler. It was also dropped into a swimming pool, until I had time to put my baby and bags down so I could jump in. It was also dropped into the toilet. That thing never failed me. My parents have Samsung and the picture quality is better, imo. My teen girls laugh at me when I say that but I truly think Samsung camera is superior. If I didn’t have all this family sharing stuff, parental controls, Find My IPhone, messaging with Wi-Fi between iPhones, etc…I’d switch. Only reason I haven’t, is for those reason’s. I can always find or check up on my girls when I need to. No idea why I typed all that up but just saying, I’m with you on Samsung being the better phone.

I'm a teenage samsung user (4 years now) and while the phone works fine, I am - and have been - disappointed by everything I'm missing out on simply because apps aren't as compatible with androids as they are with IOS. Normal things like using snapchat and trying to communicate with friends have been troublesome since the audio tend to fail, I cannot edit stories properly, I most definitely cannot take a facetime call without the whole device nearly exploding in my hands, and pictures/films with the front camera are so horrible and grainy I must redo it thousands of times before being able to send it. To you this might not seem to be of much importance, but it has been. I am by no means crazy for social media, but I would survive being able to connect with people that way more easily and have a photo taken of me and my mates without leaving all of us with permanent insecurities about our complexions (wish I were joking). And the absolute cherry on top: it's not possible for me to send videos longer than 10 seconds on any platform except the wonderful Whatsapp where I am regularly bombarded with spam-messages. It is a lifestyle. 🎉 I hope you see where I am coming from; I believe samsung is the better option for everyone who finds no interest in the actions I mentioned above.

They are both pratically the same phone as the incremental increase in specs are so minute. Only notable difference is the charging port is different and iPhone 15 might last a year longer if it is able to get the last os update down the road years later due to it being released a year later than iphone 14 but even that is not guaranteed. Both phones might just end up getting their last os update in the same year and enjoy the same lifespan. Really no difference at all.

Yes, that was really surprising to me when got my first (and likely last) iPhone. The battery health dipped more in a year than my old Sony's did in three - both charged similarly from about 20% to about 80% daily.
