I've been having the worst game glitches. Fought back to build up a double charge move to win, I go to push the charge move, doesn't register, again, nothing, they throw 3 fast moves while I die out. No matter what, you get FORCED to around 50 percent. This game is fixed
It is and “they” think it’s not broken cuz it’s designed to operate like that. I used to do over 2000 battles per season. I did 325 this past season. It’s so obvious it’s not fun. I quit watching football cuz It’s fake too
I can't tell you how many times I've been 100% hard countered after winning 4 matches. Two seasons ago I would he made Ace rank if I had won my final match in the set, I had 2 mons healthy and opponent had one, game glitches so badly I lost. I was furious.
You said it Dan, they DONT care about GbL. At all. It’s just them throwing us a bone to keep us addicted to going out and grinding pokemon. The more into PvP we are, the more we’re gunna go hunt wild pokemon which is the only way to get good IVs for PvP, and that’s their main goal. Get us playing outside. GBL doesn’t directly get us outside, the better the PvP experience is, the more of our play time we’ll spend on the couch instead of grinding on the streets. If corsola wasn’t egg licked, some people would already have the rank 1 and the need to go grind eggs would be much lower. They will never make PvP great. It’s just there to motivate us to try harder at the grind. They don’t care about our PvP data. But they absolutely care about the data you sent back from your local downtown as you sacrificed another hour of your time to pop out an extra round of eggs to hopefully finally get that usable corsola you’re waiting for.
Coming from someone who also is a dad so tough to schedule time for battlers but also a Legend rank battler, I think your looking at starmie in the wrong light… if you look at its stats specifically compared to Shadow Gatr after doing the 20% math their stats are very similar. Starmie with a better defense can take the charge moves better than gatr but less health means fast moves are more oppressive and it’s missing the hydro cannon power. It needs weather ball to make up for it but it’s just a more accessible Shadow gatr instead of having to do grunts and hope for a specific IV spread use an elite tm during a certain 1 week event every 3 months everyone can have a starmie at their disposal
It took them 45min to turn the moves on after having knowledge that this was happening weeks beforehand. It's always the same with Niantic ever since they laid off like 10% of their staff.
@ Niantic not being able to update their own game as they said. And the lag was especially brutal last night indeed. Impacted both me and my opponents *badly* many times
For Morpeko, I wonder if they finally updated the sims where it switches the Aura Wheel because in my experience it didn’t before and it kept it as electric. (They may have done this sooner as well, and I just missed it.)
I wonder if the shorter timer clock may result in glassier Pokémon being able to be used as safe swaps since you won’t have to be able to survive sixty seconds. Maybe that’s the use of Starmie.
give psywave to the real glass GOAT- jynx! 140 att, def & stam low 100s. it should destroy a lot more than it actually does but, lol, similar to starmie, you need two moves to take out and good luck with that when all you got is confusion. with psywave you do enough raw fast damage to prob take out with one avalanche or psyshock. Niantic, fix your jynx, lol
So the one starmie I have managed to have grass secret power. Now with surf would it possibly be worth it to keep it that way for a niche water based cup and try to find another one to use psywave on? Or just screw the secret power and upgrade this one knowing how rare staryus tend to be
The only time I'll think they care about GBL is when they fix the TM issues. TM usage is RNG after all this time. Keep legacy moces tied to ETM but man they dont really care

Twenty one seasons and they still can’t get their crap together! It truly is unbelievable how incompetent they are. What I don’t understand is why can’t the new season of GBL & league turnovers can’t start at 10 am pacific time because the new regular season starts at 10 am, so why not start GBL at 10 am PST/PDT? That way, more people can battle on day one, and most countries don’t have to wait until the 2nd day. Come on, man!

I've beaten starmie very easily with Ampharos and Electivire by simply farming it down. It's definitely not broken.

Yeah that damn lag cost me 3 sets starting the Season! Crazy!

I find the best way to analyse how quick a charged move is just to think, well its 5 claws (10 turns) to get to a hydro....
