There you will find a bunch of settings, among them a number called MNC each network operator has a different number; for example ATT is 410 while for an ATT reseller it may be 280. If you went off your usual area of service and then comeback and your phone updated the MNC wrong then you will have this problem in which case your best bet its to talk to the reseller about this.
This is a hardware/software problem on Samsung S10, Note 10, S20, S21, S22. Why? Well first of all the SIM is working I can call and receive calls and text messages without any problem. Furthermore iPhone X, Iphone 12 Pro, Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Poco F5 has absolutely no problem reading the same SIM. The best solution stay away from Samsung 🤷🏼♂️

This didn't work, although it seems like it should have. Boost Mobile Galaxy S9 (and their S8 customers) are getting invalid SIM card status. Also, get this, a message that says to get Sprint to unlock your phone (I'm sure you know they used Sprint's lines until the big merger). They've been giving me the runaround for about two weeks now. @@chynadoll09 yes, I did. I found the solution in the Boost Mobile community (all carriers have similar support forums). Try shutting off your phone, remove and reinsert SIM card. Then, restart phone and check for updates. If an update is available, update immediately (there was one for mine). After you've successfully updated and installed the update, wait until phone and OS is finally loaded. Then go to Settings> Update PRL and click on that. That will communicate with your carrier to reset your phone to the new update. After that, stay in settings and click on Update Profile. This is what worked for me.
