The "Cavallino"(known as the Prancing Horse) on the shield adorned on the front fenders, was gifted to Enzo by the family of a WW1 ace by the last name of Baracca (sp, someone can correct) who had this symbol on his plane. Enzo used the symbol as his racing stable identifier. Enzo never raced horses, always autos.
Yes, I am aware that, thanks for the additional info. However, you misinterpreted my explanation of the origin of the word scuderia (meaning stable or barn) in Italian race team names.
Well how you feel is how you feel sir, but I know what referenced to and why: I'm speaking to the name Scuderia Ferrari, not the horse logo. I realize Enzo never raced horses and the horse came from Baracca the yellow background represents the city of Modena etc... A lot of people think Scuderia means race team, but it doesn't. The remark I made was in reference to the choice made to use "Ferrari Stable" as the name of the race team. Before cars and motorbikes, horses were raced, hence why the race team is stylishly named Ferrari Stable and not something more anglofied like "Squadra Corsa Ferrari" or Ferrari Race Team. As well, I didn't mention the "gifting" of the logo to Enzo as there is no record of such a thing ever occurring as per the Baracca family - A note of contention for years.
Thanks Brandon! Appreciate the comments, hope you think about subscribing and sharing! I think you should keep an eye on www.HumberviewMotorsports.com or just contact the good people there and let them know what you'd like to find. You may help them win a trade that's the kind of car you can get excited about. I agree, and was shocked the example I drove took so long to sell. I think it's a modern classic that wasn't resale red, or it would've been over $100k asking and that's still a great deal for a V12 Ferrari that is the closest thing to my friend Ryan Valin's Mk4 Factory5 roadster I drove when it comes to life changing feelings coming through the driver's seat - which was carbon fiber :) Cheers
Great video. Thanks. 👍🏻🇬🇧
You're most welcome Mark! Thanks for the note, it's very much appreciated 🏁🎬
Ha ha ha ……I loved it when you said “I’m going within the road limit!”

@@TheTuesdayTestDrive I don't feel I did. Enzo used the word for a racing stable(barn) of cars.

Great review man! I’m thinking of getting a 612 in a year or 2, see a few at 75k! That’s a deal for a v12 Ferrari! 30k miles! What a car

Great vidios👍
Why this car is more expensive than ferrari california?
Much appreciated 🙏 I'd say it's worth more due to low production numbers and overall performance. Original MSRP prices were also very far apart 🤓🎬
v12 v8 cali is a girl car 599 is a beats
The california is a simpler car than the 599, the 599 is a real ferrari, a less produced gt with a v12 engine.
nice presentation yer hired
nice video
Thank so much! It's about as well as I can make a video with a cell phone and a few hours of time with a very nice ride 🏁
