Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it. And special thanks for watching till the end of video, I'm not only trying to review a car but to spread a message as well. ✌🏼
The test was performed on the Highway, AND YES, WE GOT 51.3 MPGs. Observed MPGs on the city with some traffic was 32 MPG (unfortunately I wasn't able to get any footage). Please leave your questions and suggestions below, also let us know what car you would like us to review next. THANKS FOR WATCHING!
51.3 mpgs on average in the real world without being a Hybrid? (hence - A Hybrid variant introduced in the new Corolla) ...the Prius must be worried now...
@@thecriticalthinkeroutsidet4947 Yes it must be worried 🤣 And yes, the new 2020 Corolla Hybrid is a good choice as well, if people is willing to pay the extra $3,000 or so over the LE regular model. But to be honest with you, if we compare it with what I paid for this one, the price difference is a bout $7,000 believe it or not. I will make a video about it SOON... Thanks so much for taking the time on commenting ✌🏼
Be patient and break the engine really well, even tough Toyota does not specify on the owner's manual, how to do it, I follow the general advice of the 1,200 miles. I drove it under 3,000 rpm on the city, below 60 MPH on the Highway with minimum time as possible, and no long Highway trips before 1,200 miles. There are a few videos on youtube about it. THANKS so much for taking the time on giving us some feedback 👊🏼
@@bheras06 not into city driving much, however, with the recall for the fuel pump I'm getting now around 43-45 mpg. 50k on it. The trip to California last october netted myself around 36 mpg average. No issues so far. Got 50k on it already.
This is honestly a really great car, it drives smooth and has a lot of smart capabilities. It can go fast especially since it has sports mode, it also can be loud when you rev it up. All together for a cheap car it’s really upgraded and new age
The 1.8 may be the best Toyota engine made if you want to keep your car for a long time. Keep your oil changed often with good oil and you can see 250k+ miles without major problems. I personally like the hatchback better but it’s a great car for a basic car.
Yes sir, so far being taking good care of maintenance. I'll be uploading a ''3 year of ownership review'' soon. Stay tune, and thanks so much for taking the time on posting a comment, it is greatly appreciated!👍🏼
I'm leasing a 2019 Corolla LE 1.8.automatic..Mine looks like yours, but Silver. Lease ends January 2022. how many miles do you have on yours now and are you still happy with it?
Man, I couldn't be happier! It has almost 26,000 miles and still runs like new. Still great gas mileage as well. I'm preparing a video with an update, so please stay tune and consider subscribing to support the channel. Thank you so much for taking the time on posting a comment. 👍🏼
I like what you said at the end of the video. We should spend our HARD EARNED MONEY wisely! Great video

So glad I got mine. Just bought 3 weeks ago. Le and white just like yours. I'm impressed with 39.2 last fill up. I'm working on breaking the 40 mpg.

How was the trip bro?
By the way, thanks for the comment.

Wow man I watched your gas meter from the beginning of your driving till the end. It didn't really move! Amazing. No need for hybrid cars
I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video. Cheaper to buy and cheaper to maintain compare to a hybrid for sure.
@@HappyCarReviews the red 2021 look amazing. Le I think
@@funnycomments6081 I'm with you on that one. I did not like the red one on the 2019 model but the new model looks better on my eyes for some reason.
50 mpg on the hwy with a GASOLINE hatch is incredible. I wonder if the number match the pump though XD
Great question. I'll try to make a video about it. Thanks for the support

remember 15" wheels with stock tires better mpg
The LE has 16 inch wheels
What type of trim lines
Just bought an 2019 with 8400 miles on it.
Congratulations! 🎉Keep up with regular maintenance, and It will run, forever!
I must be doing something wrong I only get 29.8 miles to the gallon overall
Way to go! Nice mileage! Is this an LE Eco model?
Thanks. it is not, just a regular LE.
Good beautiful 👍👍👍👍
Which engine please?
1.8 L
highway maybe ok but city driving is not that good....27mpg avg. if you drive normal and not like a maniac...
Thanks for the comment. Totally agree with you, but hey, its an economy car after all.
Computer lying some time.. I guess you need to fill up tank & zeros mile and see how many miles took you
You are right on that one. I'll try to make another video based on you suggestion.
