@RDEnduro No he lifted the throttle to about 65% of the throttle, through the whole foxhole, so that unsattled the rear end. You have to be on 100% throttle through the foxhole, there is no speed decreasing through that corner. If you have to decrease the speed in foxhole you have to do that before the foxhole and then go back on 100% throttle for the foxhole and brake right after it. If you want to know why is that ask and I can answer you that too
I really enjoy all these videos but I really love when you drive older Hondas. I can tell you’re having fun driving them. Sometimes power isn’t all you need to enjoy driving. Balance and handling mean confidence!
Lotus never disappoints. Really nice and cool cars right from the factory. This ride was just before the N24 race? That looked really cool with the tents already next to the track.
Regarding the “incident” with the Mazda: he was following the track lines, and you were coming considerably faster. As soon as you appeared in his mirror, he gave you plenty of room to pass. While we enjoy your videos, remember that you don't own the track; other people are out there doing their laps as well.(please someone correct me if I am not seeing this correctly, happy to learn from this) thanks ✌🏼
the issue wasn't that he was in the way, the issue is that he hit the brakes on exit and signaled on the left, trying to let misha through on the right. you never, ever pass on the right in a public session, that's like the #1 rule of the ring. that's what annoyed misha, cause stuff like this can lead to misunderstandings that can lead to crashes. he should have stuck to his line and moved to the right when possible, not tried to let the approaching car through on the right side. when you're in a slower car, your #1 priority is to be predictable.
Man, shifts looked a bit tough…but to be expected considering it’s running on a gearbox made for a Camry and there’s a camera in the way, might need a bit of a refresh ? I found that clipping a camera to one of the kick panels can work wonders and be out of the way. Helps when you need to make quick shifts, plus lets you see pedal travel. 3d printed mount? Lotus is still gold standard for me suspension/chassis wise, but Agree with others this car could seriously benefit from your aero wizardry with the throttle lift response and rear weight bias. Kudos to the passenger for holding his lunch! Looked rough and I can relate even if I do trust the driver implicitly. Thank you for the video!
Amazing lap, Misha! It is great that you brought back the pedal cam! In that line of thought, would you be interested in doing a video showing and explaining more about rev matching and heel and toe? Greetings! Keep up the good work!
Recent subscriber, love your videos. The multi-camera setup is amazing. Have you thought about a circular polarizer for the main dash camera to get rid of the dash reflection?
I may be wrong but it seems like that the stock shifter in the Lotus is pretty bad. I saw many Videos also of Exiges and firstly the shifting time was pretty long which doesnt seem to be a drivers fault and on the other hand on the lap attempt of Sport Auto with an Exige Cup 380 the test driver "misshifted" sometimes. Would be happy to here about your opinion and maybe someone out of the community could tell something about it.
It's a mid-engined car so the transmission is not directly under the shifter but connected with linkages. Therefore shifting is less direct and precise
Wow... impressive. Seems like it needs more revs.. it gets faster all the way to redline. Must feel fast up top. That 5th gear grind though.. lol. Sounds like maybe those transmissions could use some upgraded syncros.
This old Toyota gearbox is the worst I´ve ever been driven (own Exige R111). Such rubbish in such an expensive car and the engine is more than 10 years old. Nice packaging for outdated technic.
what happened in foxhole? was it just speed/setup? (ah lift... ngl, it didn't look like much lift off and still should have been fine? anyway, love the uploads as always ✌
this car needs bigger injectors bigger pump and bigger pulley brother. i drived lotus only in need for speed but damn when you tune them up to max, they are rocket ships in corners
great drive from Misha , but what is your feeling on that power figures claimed 475 ps , hum , a stock GT4 seems at least as fast if not faster , maybe car gets too hot and loose power ? or gear ratio is killing it ? no idea but that s strange
because on track they get heated. I was there Thursday and go underpressure too, 2.1 bar instead of 2.4 (recommended) at front, 2.5 bar at rear. After the lap they were 2.5 and 3.0 bar and tyres were melting :)
@@ROKI49n1 oh yeah:] interesting, so the first lap is kind of crappy always when you do this, cause riding at such underpressure is comfy:], but not fast..
You want everything off in lotus or use sport mode. Not Track. It’s very intrusive and will be sapping power in corners without you realising. I say the same comment every time you drive a lotus but never seems to be acknowledged. But good video and nice car
As my son 21 years young asked me for getting a 911 out of the garage to drive. I said okay, take it but if run as fast as you can before your mouth opens 😂
+1 Thanks for bringing back the pedal cam. I know it's a pain but it's the cherry on top for manual car vids
Lotus Emira again! Now this is something that deserve Vulcan-Alpha kit!
So much yes
Every car needs Vulcan Alpha aero
YES!!!! I AGREE!!! Hell while your at it, a active DRS kit too LMFAOO!!
Come on guys bring in views he did 239kmph in foxhole 😂
Dude saw the face of God for a moment lol
Kmph😂😂😂

Looks like the suspension wasn’t too happy about that.
The wheels with that silver color and yellow center cap and caliper could be a poster on my wall! Looks so good, really fun car Lotus
4:20 That was close! 😬 Great driving skills!
Is that suspension bottom out? I couldnt tell if he was adding input or fighting the cars own input to the wheel
bro i honestly think he should relax a little bit in the future. driving all the cars balls to the wall will just end up in more major crashes

@@NDakovic why?
I see lotus I click.
Honestly, it is a hard vehicle to beat out of the box value. The only thing that comes to mind is Porsche for out of the box value.

Probably the most fun you can have with a Camry V6!
apart from it being supercharged.

Love the pedal camera.
Your footwork is immaculate and I learn whilw watching it.

It was the braking as he was approaching.
You're absolutely spot on dude

"Fancy Footwork" said some nfs Prostreet song
Misha with the handshake. Dude, the guy was still shaking. Misha give him a break. Some people need some time for their adrenaline to come down, lol.
For real! 😅👌
And considering the foxhole situation he handled himself pretty great i would say.
I love watching your footwork at the same time! As always well done! 💙🙏

Misha: spicy!

The Lotus Emira is an amazing machine and those mods are on point. Fantastic driving BTW.
Recent subscriber, love your videos. The multi-camera setup is amazing. Have you thought about a circular polarizer for the main dash camera to get rid of the dash reflection?
Always reminding yourself of cold tires, every video whilst braking hard from 200+ 😅😅. Love it
4:26 Spicy button! 😜
Awsome!! And thanks that the pedal cam is back Misha!👌👍
I love lotus real drivers cars
Chciałbym przeżyć przygodę. Poczuć realizm. To co robisz jest mega.
Wow yeah bro don't lift in the compression, that could have been a nasty tack to the right barrier! Great recovery too.
A lot of modern cars seem anaesthetised with awd and nanny controls, this is a nice contrast, looks very analogue / exciting 😎
A really stonking lap until that first yellow, wow! Way to push it Misha! That car goes pretty good!
I may be wrong but it seems like that the stock shifter in the Lotus is pretty bad. They were much improved on later Evoras and all Emiras.
It's a mid-engined car so the transmission is not directly under the shifter but connected with linkages. Therefore shifting is less direct and precise
As an Emira owner and ex S2000 owner, the shifter isn’t very good - nor is the gearbox.
Try changing the engine Mount rubber with power flex, greatly improved my Elise shifting, less movement from engine so better shifting.
@@danvuquoci mean honda shifters are the crème de la crème so everything will feel like a downgrade
That's your first lap at Warp One I was holding onto my seat of this blistering run
So happy for the pedal cam return!!!
6:29 that downshift was beatiful.
LFGGGGGG!!!! Been waiting for a proper Emira FBO drive test since the car was announced 😤
impressed by trust in misha, I muttered at least 3 times 'holy shizzle' under my breath watching this :D
New favorite channel!

Think the owner was glad to get out 😂😂. Just by his reaction the whole time. Don’t blame him. That was a very very decent lap
Love the video as always 👍🏼 the car seems fairly lazy on acceleration for 475hp..?
I like how Misha stays positive even when criticizing.
So cool that Lotus decided to keep their cars actually manual.
This old Toyota gearbox is the worst I´ve ever been driven (own Exige R111). Such rubbish in such an expensive car and the engine is more than 10 years old. Nice packaging for outdated technic.
fantastic, proper lap! 🤩🤩 So good.
2:43 oof😬
Whew! Sketchy! I was considering ordering an Emira, but...that's too much "knife's edge" handling. Amazing job handling that thing.
Shame Lotus manual gearboxes are poor when rushed. Same as Elise and Exige. Lovely upgrades however.
Later Evoras and Emiras better.
Awesome car!! sounds amazing too
what happened in foxhole? was it just speed/setup? (ah lift... ngl, it didn't look like much lift off and still should have been fine? anyway, love the uploads as always ✌
Manual shifter best thing in the world❤
Bro, that tail wag through foxhole! 😮
I can see true scare in his eyes 😄👍
Misha, you need urgently to buy a moccasin and white socks 😂😂😂
That car is screaming "I need aero!"
pro rally level left foot braking work
Hands down, the ONLY car I’d order brand new in 2024 😍😍😍
Bro can dance on those pedals
Whats spitting fluid all over the rear window at 2:30?
The left foot braking at the end of long stretches is interesting. Suppose that's faster to get on the gas again?
this car needs bigger injectors bigger pump and bigger pulley brother. i drived lotus only in need for speed but damn when you tune them up to max, they are rocket ships in corners
great drive from Misha , but what is your feeling on that power figures claimed 475 ps , hum , a stock GT4 seems at least as fast if not faster , maybe car gets too hot and loose power ? or gear ratio is killing it ? no idea but that s strange
If it really had 475 HP it would almost do the speeds of a GT3
You need a set of racing harnesses to hold you in the seat. Nice drive!
I much prefer the rear view camera over watching your dance moves. The 50kph Mini on Karussell was funny though.
Why are the tyres pumped up so low?
Is that a factory thing?
Nurburing thing?
:]
driving fast on track thing
When driving really hard, the tyres heat up a lot more than normal, which creates the right pressure once at fighting temp.
because on track they get heated. I was there Thursday and go underpressure too, 2.1 bar instead of 2.4 (recommended) at front, 2.5 bar at rear. After the lap they were 2.5 and 3.0 bar and tyres were melting :)

nice drive. personally love the lotus

But good video and nice car
Does he have any videos of 3rd person views from various areas of the track? These are awesome videos...wanting to see the actual car from track view.
FANCY CAMRY YES
Lol left hanging Misha
That thing seems bit mild for 475hp car but nice one anyways!
left foot braking in any modern car, at the racetrack especially, is as useful as double clutching a gearbox with synchros
Spicy
Gotta love the foot cam
very tame 475hp
Wow! Just, wow!
Please drive an Exige around the Ring.
Good video
I don't miss the pedal camera. But I miss the back camera.
I think the last gen Exige models from Komotec would perform better here?
I don't know why. But the car doesn't feel like it has 475hp, maybe the 400 stock HP. Is the Emira that heavy 😅
1400kg 475hp.
The man left his brain on the right seat of the car out of fear

You can’t rush the Emira shifter, Misha. It’s a British thing…😂

Was that (at foxhole) really because of the lift or maybe a bit of bumpsteer?

Gear ratios has to be %20 shorter. Its killing the power
