Some of you have noticed some weight changes, while some are happy and are congratulating me, others are concerned? To answer, that (Because I don't feel a video is warranted for the topic), *YES* I'm perfectly fine! 2 years ago I had a medical emergency that rendered me in the hospital for a week, it was the biggest health scare of my life and since then, I have been closely monitored by my doctors to safely get to a healthy weight to prevent any more medical problems. So yes, it was intentional, no, I'm fine, don't worry. No, I don't mind people noticing it and commenting on it either, I actually find it amusing that people tip-toe around the weight issue and just say "You're looking healthy" 😂 guys, it's ok, I don't get offended if you say the "w" word 🤣 so don't worry 😘💞
Sailor Venus' element is metal (since the inner senshi are based on the 5 Wu Xing elements), and why she has whip and sword attacks. Gold stars works out perfectly for her metal element, especially since the Japanese name for Venus is Kinsei- literary metal star.
I feel like a lot of the nuance with the Japanese meanings of words for the senshi got lost in translation, because even I originally thought her element was light as well. Metal makes a lot of sense though.
I love the star glitter on the dress, it feels really reminiscent of her transformation sequence with the stars bursting from the ground beneath her feet

He forged a chain for her out of gold metal, which Venus used to entangle anyone she flirted with to instantly fall in love with her. Using it, she seduced Mars, the god of war and had an affair with him until Hepheastus found out and divorced her. Venus and Mars married shortly after. ...hence Naoko pairing Minako and Rei whenever she had the chance ;D

Another astounding piece! Fun Swarovski crystal story. I went to a college with a big fashion department and took the into clothing construction class for fun. They told us the school had a library of Swarovski crystals we could rent for our assignments as long as we tore them off and returned them. Always thought that was really weird.

I appreciate that you left in the part with the hair I always appreciate when a artist shows their trials when doing their craft cause it's nice to know that even someone as experience as you can still deal with that from time to time and get through it As a beginner it makes me not as scared of trying and failing just stay calm and work though it until it works for me. I've ordered a few kits and one is pretty complex so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little terrified so thanks for this.

The attention to detail is phenomenal and tbh, it's been so amazing to see you use different tricks and methods on your kits throughout the years I've been subscribed. I also appreciate how honest you are about when things challenge you, too. It's super encouraging for people who want to get started with GK but are scared about messing up to know that even the pros can struggle, sometimes, and it's okay not to be perfect the first time you try something. I could literally watch you paint all day, it's SO relaxing and this beautiful princess didn't cease to amaze, as always. I LOVED the way you shaded her hair. She ended up looking absolutely stunning! The paintwork on her hair might be my favorite part of this whole kit, you made both sets of hair look truly magical. I also love how the star details can also be a callback to Venus being refered to as the Morning- or Evening Star, it makes them feel just right for her!

I just want to say while I don't do figurines like this, I do make cakes and watching your channel over time I tried to pick up some of your air brushing techniques once I got my new job 6 months ago and I've been getting a lot of compliments when I airbush the cakes and the gumpaste/fondant flowers and bows I use for the cakes. Venus was my character back on the playground in the 5th grade (1999!) I still adore her. I've been eagerly waiting for this one, and I'm so happy to see her come together! I think you made a great choice with the yellow to orange gradient on the frame. She's the only one of the inner senshi with three colors in her palette, so it feels right for her anyway. Great job!

Aw, yellow is my favorite color! That being said, I always associated Minako with orange and gold anyway, Uranus is the only one whose accent color is yellow unfortunately. Stars are actually perfect because Venus is the Morning Star. You can see it shining as the “first star” at dawn and at dusk so it’s a fitting motif.

Watching you do these backgrounds is some special type of brujería. I cannot fathom how you are able to think about both sides at the same time, painting some things from the front view and others from the back. It’s pure magic.

Im trying GK after several years as a doll modder and the putty is the single most difficult part to get the hang of! I absolutely do not have a handle on it yet! 😅 it's good to know even a pro still has their moments too! ❤️ Another gorgeous senshi!

Another beautiful, stunning Senshi came to Resin - Life, you did a wonderful job with her. It is amazing how you achieve just another super skill with every Senshi Kit to make every one of them look their best. And I have to admit, this kit scares me more than all the others combined, so I will have to watch the video a few times more...that hair is madness 😵💫.
I wonder if Wanzi might be offering the other Senshis heads, it would be fantastic to install both hairstyles permanently. A girl can dream 😅.

It’s so inspiring to see that even a seasoned modeler still struggles with her craft and in the video you say we’re here to watch you suffer but really I just love watching you overcome all the trials these kits throw at you! The struggle and the triumph is what makes it so satisfying to watch and you end up with gorgeous Senshi models! Even with mistakes and imperfections along the way, they look amazing in the end and that’s one of the most inspiring things about the sailor moon series. That no matter how much the struggle or mess up, they come out on top cuz they never give up. Thank you for showing us these modeling journeys.

Aw, yellow is my favorite color! That being said, I always associated Minako with orange and gold anyway, Uranus is the only one whose accent color is yellow unfortunately. Lol I never caught the phallic looking henshin shaft, I mean rod, or stick haha none of them actually sound much better! Thanks for the lovely paint job and commentary! I wish I could do resin kits and try it, but there is so much going on in my life that is preventing me from doing so and watching your videos just make me feel better, they always come out so beautiful in the end.
