    I feel of all the characters , Benji is the one with less space and the least interesting story line. It is such a pity! George is so under used in the show, such a great actor, he gives such a powerful performance but he is almost like just an eye candy in the show.
    **SPOILER**** If it is not Benji opening the door for Victor at the end of episode 10, I am done with Love, victor. If George os not in season 3, I’m out too

      Don't agree with Benji being less interesting, but I do agree I need Benji to be at the door

      @wontaekschild1473 3 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Same! But I don't think benji has the least interesting story line... I'm curious about a lot of things like how'd he become an AA, the bad part of his relationship with Derek, his parents... he just doesn't have screem time, I feel like they could explore more of Benji's life instead of putting new and unecessary charecteres... We know about Lake, Mia and Felix's life but not about Benji and that sucks.

    I've been watching several online interviews with the Love, Victor cast and your style, preparedness and obvious knowledge & enthusiasm for this series really sticks out > great job Raffy!
    Question Please: I have yet to find an interviewer who will ask this question:
    "While you obviously can't comment on season 3 scripts which haven't yet been written and finalized, have you discussed and been told your general story arc for next season, including who'll you'll ultimately end up being in a relationship with?"
    Is it because this specific question is much harder for the main cast to evade answering vs asking more episode-specific questions like the obvious one> "Do you know whose doorbell you're ringing?"
    {which obviously they can't because no finalized script exists as of yet)

    • @charulsahu
      @charulsahu 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So Michael did say in an interview that the writers haven't told them anything as to who's door it is .... so no one from the cast knows about that

    EASY SEASON 3 PREDICTIONS:
    VICTOR IS AT RAHIM'S DOOR > WHY?
    1/ Victor & Benji always say "HEY", not "Hi" to each other, especially during "serious" discussions
    2/ Benji is justifiably angry > Victor would be using more contrite "can we please talk" tone of voice
    3/ Rahim's door is the less predictable, surprise opening scene to freak our the largely disapproving fanbase
    4/ BUT Victor isn't there to "choose" Rahim > He's there to tell him he still loves and is committed to Benji
    {Large majority of fans LOVE the Rahim character, but NOT if he's the unwelcome interloper who breaks up Venji. Both Victor and Rahim's popularity has taken a hit with this overly sudden, non-sensical "love triangle" storyline, which needs to be repaired asap so that Rahim can have his own independent romantic storyline with the required love, support, and enthusiasm of the global fanbase)
    5/ Victor and Rahim work better as good friends > And having Victor suddenly fall in love with the FIRST new gay dude he meets is lame, cliched, and lazy script-writing from a talented team capable of far better storyline development!
    BETTER QUESTION IS WHY WOULD BENJI STILL WANT TO DATE TRUST-BREAKER, SERIAL KISSER VICTOR?
    {Most of the tsunami of EXTERNAL obstacles thrown at Venji's relationship by the writers have mostly been from Victor's side in dealing with his "coming out" drama! What happened to the sweet, thoughtful and "romantic" Victor of season 1 who Benji understandably fell for, minus all the season 2 self-centered, sad-sack "coming out" drama?)
    VICTOR ENDS UP WITH BENJI BY THE END OF SEASON 3 > WHY?
    1/ Disney/Hulu + Producers bottom-line biz objectives are Ratings / Renewals / Spin-offs / PROFITS > achieved by giving viewers what they want and expect to see > And recent polls confirm 75% of fans want endgame Venji!
    (ALWAYS REMEMBER FOLKS THAT HOLLYWOOD IS A BOTTOM-LINE $$$ BUSINESS!)
    2/ Viewers have invested 2 full seasons watching the carefully written and developed Venji relationship. Producers spent months casting both characters for their superb chemistry > Season 2 billboards featured Venji together prominently. They aren't going to toss this relationship away so easily from both a creative and BUSINESS $$ perspective!
    3/ IF Victor's heart can so easily be swayed by veritable stranger newbie Rahim vs his first love / first sex Benji after 2 full seasons of relationship growth > WHY would viewers continue to invest their time following his his next "big romance"?
    4/ It makes zero sense that Victor would close his eyes and be able to clearly see Rahim as the partner he's beaten the odds with in future since they've only hung out together as friends a few times vs 2 full seasons of romantic "firsts" with Benji
    5/ Fans understand there needs to be "drama" in any teen series, but they also want and expect Venji's relationship to be given a fair-minded chance to be successful vs the overly contrived avalanche of "drama" thrown at it during season 2!
    IT WILL TAKE SEVERAL S3 EPISODES FOR VENJI TO REPAIR THEIR RELATIONSHIP > JUST IN TIME FOR A MUCH HAPPIER JUNIOR PROM FINALE > SINCE EACH SEASON COVERS ROUGHLY 6 MONTHS IN VICTOR'S LIFE
    Victor will need to regain Benji's trust after blabbing his AA secret to Rahim, then inviting him to the wedding, asking him to slow dance, failing to shut down his kiss, and admitting to Felix that he "felt something".
    The predictable storyline to achieve this happier expected outcome for most fans will be Benji's alcohol relapse battle which Victor will be there to help him through > a welcome change to see Victor providing love and support, rather than receiving it in spades from Benji and others in his "coming out" journey during the first two seasons!
    (CUE THE PREDICTABLE EPISODE 10 CROWD-PLEASING "KING & KING" VENJI PROM DANCE SCENE!)

      I really like you analysis of a potential Season three arc...except for Benji relapsing and Victor being there... Here is my theory: Instead of a relapse, they take a time out, and Benji and Derek hang out together. But at the end of the day, Derek knows Benji is crazy in love with Victor. IMO there's a reason the writers had Derek appearing in Season 2 to help rescue Mia from disaster.

    • @jimsummers3313
      @jimsummers3313 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@barbaraparker7681 That's a really interesting plot angle, especially regarding Derek's cameo appearance in season 2! We shall see how season 3 pans out, but I do believe that the writers have invested time in both the first two seasons exploring Benji's AA issue and the next logical extension of this will be some kind of a relapse which will ultimately serve to bring "Venji" back together! Victor has broken Benji's trust with Rahim multiple times now > the obvious way to regain Benji's trust and love would be to have Victor finally return some of the love and support he's received from Benji. Victor's image and favorability with fans is in serious need of some major polishing and having him be there for Benji is the predictable storyline to accomplish this over multiple season 3 episodes. Benji will no doubt push Victor away at times, and may even reach out to Derek on the rebound, although this won't go anywhere past friendship IMO > similar to Victor and Rahim working better as good friends!

      Brillant Analysis. Relationship & show break down of possible outcomes...you are clearly a budding writer or film maker on training...spoiler Alert it was actually the Romantic ferris wheel finale * not the King prom...the show ended in many ways as it began 🥰 precious & powerful

      Well said!! I'm a total idiot who somehow never foresaw the cancellation of the series and an overly rushed, shortened 8 episode final third season covering only 2 short months from where we left off at the conclusion of S2's annoying, ridiculous and overly contrived S2 cliffhanger!:(
