      @@The-skillschool Can you recommend an XP Deus rig with coils and Bluetooth headphones and where to buy with discount at a great price. I think I would need a 28cm X35 coil for ploughed and an elliptical coil for getting between the iron in machine gun iron areas, but tell me if I’m wrong.
      What is the elliptical coil I need, one area I have typically has 9 iron items in the same hole as the non ferrous? That sort of thing. But great history there. I have an Equinox 800, with 6”11”and 15” Minelab coils and Bluetooth headphones. I also have a Garrett 400i.
      Great info on your vids 👍 cheers

    Good video Gary thanks for making it. It took me almost exactly a year to find my first hammered it was Easter Sunday this year and I found 2 within a few feet of each other, 3 weeks later another one popped up. It just takes time and patience to fully understand your machine and the feeling once you have cracked it is brilliant. Happy hunting 👍 XP💪

    Cheers Gary...good viewing...now I'm a believer..I use apart from stubble or longgrass..31khz reactivity 4 all the time.with HF coil...finds just keep coming all the time....also people should think why do you need deep? The fact is most cultivated sites have been ploughed to about 10 inches hundreds of times since medievil...so basically everything has been mixed up like a cement mixer anyway..hundreds of times, so yank out the finds@31khz...

    • @The-skillschool

    According to my measurements the Nox uses roughly 8khz-18khz-40khz simultaneously but in different proportions depending on modes.
    Also has adjustable recovery. I agree the coins are where the iron is. Iron is so cheap it has been used extensively since Pre Roman times and was the most common lost or discarded metal on sites of human habitation and although it masks finds it indicates human activity sometime over the last 2000 years or so.

    • @The-skillschool
      @The-skillschool  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Trouble is although the multi-frequency machine mentioned has an adjustable recovery speed it still can't deal with the iron like the Deus. I've tried it on several occasions during my testing.

    • @oldplucker1
      @oldplucker1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@The-skillschool Is that still so even with an elliptical coil on the Nox and the gain turned down to match the Deus lower sensitivity? I would be interested to see the comparison on video. Would be useful info. Also what mode and settings for the Nox were you using?
      I haven’t got a Deus but it can increase the finds rate amongst iron with the Nox by turning the sensitivity ‘Down’. I find the 6” Nox coil very good at getting between iron and of course there is a choice of two different iron modes on the Nox with a lot of room for adjustment on each. Fe and F2. I am not saying the Nox is better but it certainly finds foil and air riffle pellets. In fact almost too many tiny items. People on field digs I went on with Nox’s found hammered while others with Deus’s found Zero I also found a couple of hammer’d Jettons in an iron infested area with the Nox where my Garret 400i could not even detect them. Comparisons on real digs would be useful. 👍

    Love your videos. I am a newbie but I have been using a mates deus with an HF 9 inch eliptical coil and finding tiny targets rnaging from airgun pellets up through buttons etc. I am looking to buy a Deus 2 but don't want to lose the ability to hit these small targets however the eliptical coil on the D2 is huge- So am considering the 9inch round coil? In your view is this the best option or would you recommend something else? even the D1?
