I’ve fish Smith Lake a few years ago. Caught some nice spotted bass. I plan on doing a video there at some point and time. Thanks for your comment I appreciate you watching 🎣🎣
You ever fish the area where the Paint Rock empties into the Tennessee River? Back in the 60's, I was just a kid but my grandfather and another man had all that land from the paint rock back towards the dam leased to raise cattle on... Great memories as a child!
Hey Rocky. Great job landing that loose lipped bass. How many dozen of shad to you put in that tank at once for that amount of time. Thanks for sharing the video and knowledge. God bless you and yours
@@RockyDrakeOutdoors thank you for the information ℹ want to start live bait fishing and watching your Chanel has helped me to get started thank you Sir.. for your help. Good fishing
I’ve talked to guy that makes them We just haven’t got together yet. I really like that Duckett rod I’m using. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment 🎣🎣
Atta boy Rocky! Pretty cool tricks ya got there with that bait tank. I enjoy watching your videos and usually learn something new from them every time.
Rocky.....you are right about the bite....tuff...tuff right now. With that said....the night bite is picking up. Been doing well at night on plastics and a few on spinnerbaits. Have you ever tried fishing at night on Pickwick with live bait? I tried is several years ago and did fairly well. You and your buddy might want to try that. The boat traffic is not a factor and it is pleasant without the heat. The last 3 trips I have taken been at night. You will have to deal with the willow fly hatches but even they slowing down. There for a few weeks we couldn't get a bite because the fish were packed full of willow flys. Good luck and thanks for forcing a trip in for us. I know how hard it's been so I appreciate you trying. Take care and cooler temps are just around the corner.
Thanks Alex I’m ready for fall fishing 😀 I use to fish Pickwick years ago at night during the summer. It was a lot of fun. Never tried live bait at night. Thanks for your comment and good luck fishing 🎣🎣

Probably Three dozen or so.
In the winter you can put a lot more in there when the water temps are cooler 🎣🎣
What months are the best time to fish with live bait Mr Drake
The best months are October November and March April and May.
The bait is easier to catch and the fish are hungry 🎣🎣
