Last year, I was working at my university's cafeteria, which had recently changed its name to "The Hub", and I was always tempted to call it "Da Huuuuuuuub". Truly, this series changes lives.
I JUST bought a new laptop, and the very first thing that popped into my mind when I was unboxing it was Strong Bad’s description of all the cool features of the Lappy 486.
A few months before COVID, I had to hastily get a new computer because my old desktop finally gave up the ghost (thankfully not because it got 400,000 viruses and had to be put down with a shotgun at least), and what I ended up with was my dad's spare laptop, which he'd put through the wringer before moving on to the new model. One half of ten minutes was an accurate description of its battery life.
I'm always delighted by the PBTC Homestar voice. I hope that if Strongbanglerfish were real, his lure would still have that voice and not regular Homestar's voice.
There was another great one that you could click after the email was done - something along the lines of “hey, this is a pretty great party, don’t ya think? Do you have a phone at your house?” I’ve pulled that one out once or twice.

At the time I think he thought it wasn't worth thinking about all that much. (But then again further-more in conclusion, I'm not sure how familiar he is with the times).
It never occurred to me till just now, but with the Lappy weighing 42lbs, Strong Bad must be pretty damn... strong... to be walking around so casually with it and even jumping as high as he did to sit.

I loved that book as a kid! iirc, the boy in it would think up different animal parts he could have that would have been really cool, but then he realized there would be downsides to having them as well and decided against it. As a kid, I always thought that having horns or a tail would outweigh the downsides they would bring though XD
I used to love that book, but I'm dyslexic so one time I went to the school library to rent it out, but walked up the the teacher and asked for "I wish that I had f***ed eet" and ended up getting suspended. So I don't read that book any more.

not gonna lie that is a really shitty computer... I mean nowadays most laptops have a terabyte or two of hard memory, 16 gb of ram at the least, and are like a pound and have hours and hours of battery life
The Lappy 486 is my favorite thing of all time. You think all the specs are silly, but I distinctly remember there being a giant "portable computer" that weighed about 20 pounds and cost something ridiculous like $9,000. It folded up and it had a carrying case. I think it's an 80's model.
The fact that I now realize that all these creatures and iterations of Strong Bad exist in alternate dimensions makes me realize that those skits aren’t skits. They are actually moments from alternate dimensions.
This email happened like a decade ago, and I only now realized that Sterrance has one angel wing! is he a one winged angel? maybe he needs his own song sung in Latin.
