Very good! How did you get into tango there in Russia? I liked this version very much, and let let me say that this is one of my favorite tangos and I use to hear it played by the Aníbal Troilo orchestra!
One and only little criticism: the violin player is very good but to my ears he still sounds a bit "European" or "Classical" when he plays the main melody. Perhaps if he gets a bit more "Russian romantic" (with a more violent, rubato, syncopated attack and release of his notes) I think he would sound more "tanguero" as well.
When I first read "Demons" and "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoyevski, I thought that somehow they were very familiar to me and I didn't know why. Now I would dare say that the tragedy, the passion, the irony, the criticism and even the grotesque of the tango "feeling" or "mood" is somehow similar.
Bottom line: this is a first-class interpretation. Greetings and thank you!
